'This was our first visit to the West Highlands and we were not disappointed. A beautifully maintained resort within a spectacular setting. 'The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. Frances suggested two places for dinner, and they were both really good. She also gave us tips about the hike we wanted to do and recommended a place for lunch afterwards. It’s a beautiful area. If you go, walk down the road to the lake.'

'We stayed at Aonach Cottage in late June and early July of 2026. The cottage is beautiful and surrounded by mountains. The road to the cottage is about 7 minutes long and bumpy, but worth it to be in such a beautiful location. Here are some details about the cottage. 'What a find! This little hoos on a loch with a hot tub was cosy and perfect as a base for our Glencoe hikes. We had evening and morning hot tubs and loved watching the weather come over. The restaurant next door was excellent and the hosts helpful and friendly. Was hard to leave!'

'Lovely host who was very accommodating. We arrived late and only stayed one night. Not sure if fans are available but even with the heat turned off, it was a bit warm. Very clean, nice house that was as advertised.'
