'The Inn is a nice older property in a great location in Taos, but it is in need of TLC. Our room itself was fine, but top came off one small table and the shower was designed in such a way that we soaked the mat each time. More importantly, our reception at the hotel was lukewarm; my call to the front desk to request help with the TV went unanswered; and, on my subsequent trip to the front desk, I was told that they didn't know how to work the new TV system. 'Only stayed for one night. Booked a two queen bedroom, traveled with our four year-old. They were lovely enough to upgrade us to the deluxe. Overall, the room was perfect and as shown on pictures, the only complaint I have is the lighting in the room, not bright at all. No elevators and stairs are only on both ends so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs and our room happened to be in the very middle. Wasn’t a problem for us, but something to consider. 'Used to be one of my favorite hotels anywhere, the Sagebrush was such a disappointment, i won’t be back, the place has fallen into a bad state of disrepair, from rotting, titling boards which caused a fall on the staircase, sheets with bloodstains, (laundered, it looked like stains that just don’t come out). The menu is greatly reduced and the food was terrible. Again, I’m not just an old nag, and for $200+ night i guess I expect clean sheets, some semblance of safety on staircases and walkways....
