« It was decorated nicely and the host was very helpful. A few things needed some attention like toilet downstairs wasn't fastened good. And the stairs were a little scary and steep. Other then that we had a great time and it was right on the lake and we got to fish. We all had a great time. »

« This house is newly remodeled and sparkling clean. The coffee bar is a very nice touch which I enjoyed each morning of our stay. The location is convenient, and there is off-street parking for more than one car. Gary is very responsive and helpful. »

« Exactly what we hoped for. Wish we would have had more time than 2 nights. Did some fishing off the dock, enjoyed the peacefulness of the yard and the lake. Driveway is very steep but we knew this ahead of time so no issues. »

« Overall, our stay went well. Our only downfalls to this location were the kitchen being petite, the carpets in the bedrooms smelled like pet urine although this is not a pet friendly VRBO (we sprayed Odoban to reduce the smell). The AC was off upon arrival which worsened the smell and it was 82 degrees upon arrival. Two of the bedrooms have two beds which was not very private for the couples, but we made it work. « This house was an amazing jewel to stay at! Fantastic location off the lake and close to Alabaster with an easy commute. Our group loved sitting by the fire each night and the amount of seating is perfect for a large group. We had a maintenance issue during our stay and the housekeeper came out immediately to assist. Great communication from owner. »
