« Great home base for a long holiday weekend. The walk to the recreation center was super convenient, and most days we just enjoyed hanging out and taking in the view from the cabin. There was also free shuttle service we utilized around the resort. « This was first time in the area, We had most wonderful stay at hodge podge lodge. The house was beautiful and sparking clean, well organized and have everything what we needed for stay. It located in nice neighborhood near soda spring ski resort. The house was warm and cozy , heater was good , wood stove was nice touch with plenty of firewood supplies. The bedroom was spacious and beds were comfortable. It was big plus to have easy in and out drive way to the house. We definitely recommend...

« Lazy Bear Lodge is a great West Shore place for summer activities; ideal for spending days at Meeks, Chambers, or heading up to float the Truckee. Kitchen had everything we needed. The front seems pretty hemmed in by the neighbors but the back of the property opens up to the woods. We got to see a bear and her two cubs roll past one evening which was exciting for the kids. « Wonderful location, amazing views, and a super clean, comfortable property. Everything was exceptionally well organized. The only downside is the number and height of the stairs. I highly recommend this property, provided you don't have elderly guests or young children for whom the stairs may be a concern. »
