'Old, needs updates. Room smelled weird'

'The bed sheets were not clean. Covered in both human and dog hair. Room was freezing. Looks to be an old converted shed sitting in a concrete pad. It was 5 degrees outside and we had a constant draft through the doors, windows, and cold air emitting straight from the floor. The home is old, which is no issue. 'I arrived at the hotel at 1pm after driving 8 hours and was told if I checked in it would be $35 added to my bill for checking in early. Also I put a credit card on hold for incidentals and was told Expedia didn’t charge the proper sales tax so I was charged'

'While the property and facilities are old, the room itself was clean, free of smells, shower had nice water pressure, and the AC unit worked well. Its not a luxury hotel by any means, but I would stay again. I always sleep with ear plugs so it didn't bother me, but be aware that you can hear the traffic from the road. 'An old railroad hotel, the Inn gives a turn of the century vibe. The many antiques and decorations maintain the feeling wherever you go, even as you walk about the property. The owners are friendly and available to assist with ideas for dinner or nearby activities. I have to admit, the trains running by at night were unexpected, but, it's a railroad hotel. And we quickly acclimated to it. I'd definitely recommend staying here.'
