Perfect host

Richard was so easy to communicate with, left thoughtful gift for birthday celebration and was extremely considerate in every way. The house was very well equipped, very clean and in the perfect location to explore the walking tracks. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting this area.

Perfect location

This was our second visit. The house is very clean, comfortable and well appointed for a family of five. The views over the Blue Mountains National Park are breathtaking. Very close to multiple bushwalking opportunities. Kids enjoyed the trampoline. Richard is a pleasure to deal with and very responsive. We'll stay again.

Perfect for our Senior Leadership Team Retreat

Every part of our stay was perfect, from the host communication to the check-in, but by far the best thing about this property is the stunning location. There are so many amazing walks to do and unbelievable views at nearly every corner. The house was very well equipped and had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable, functional and enjoyable as a staff team doing a retreat together.

Phenomenal property

My family and I (group of 5) stayed here for 2 nights and we did not want to leave. This property was phenomenal and the views are gorgeous and better in person compared to the photos. The place was clean, beds were sumptuous, and the bathrooms and kitchen were well stocked with anything you could need. We loved the coffee machine here, which had a milk frother. There are some board games and a few books on site to enjoy, along with a big screen TV.There is secured gate and ample parking space and 4 different outdoor sitting areas to enjoy. You can easily walk down to the Wentworth falls area. Be aware that there are no grocery stores or restaurants within a walkable distance.Check in and check out were easy processes and the host was responsive. Overall we would definitely stay here again.

We had an absolutely wonderful two-night stay at this property. The location is unbeatable, with dining options, must-visit places, and other facilities conveniently close by. Great home for an Australia mountain vacation

This beautiful house was the perfect spot for our vacation in the Australian Mountains. We chose this house for it's spaciousness and it's unbeatable location. You get to stay in a peaceful gated property but you are literally a few steps from the national park and the start of incredible hiking trails. Richard was wonderful to deal with and we had the pleasure of meeting him during our stay. The views from the house are amazing and you can expect visits from a nice variety of exotic native birds. We truly enjoyed everything about our stay.

Merveille, house with stunning views

Amazing house located right at the start of walks around Wentworth Falls. Flowers in bloom all over the extended garden. Our 6 year old granddaughter loved the playground equipment and running around the outdoor areas. We managed to open the security gate and doors using the code supplied. It helps to watch carefully at the gate, as a tiny light comes on if you use the right gentle touch. Fast internet, we were able to watch movies on our laptops. Sparkling clean house, well supplied it even had a rice cooker and big baking dish as well as a big casserole dish with lid. Would love to come again.

Found everything we needed

It was a weekend family getaway to breathe fresh air in nature and spend quality time with my family away from the city's noisy and crowded environment. The house had everything we needed for our comfort: kitchenettes, bedding, and bathroom stuff. Everything was clean and in good condition (one spot on the couch needed a hand to fix; it was bending down, but it didn't bother us at all). The view was fantastic, specifically from the kitchen's window. The garden was also vast and welcoming to the local birds, so we enjoyed observing them. The only thing that bothered us a bit was the security cameras outside the house, but I am sure they were there as a precaution against intruders.

Location, location, location.

The home is located in the prime spot in Wentworth Falls. It has amazing views of Jamison Valley and Mt Solitary. You cannot stay closer to the falls themselves. It is perfectly positioned for bushwalking to the falls themselves and other stunning walks, and the cafes, restaurants and boutique shops in Wentworth Falls village are at the end of the street. We all had a wonderful time. The spa in the master bedroom was one of my favourites - a glass of wine looking directly at the valley. The home is renovated, very clean, warm, comfortable, the beds are gorgeous, and the serenity makes you feel miles away from everything. The house was well equipped, and the host was professional, polite and very helpful. We loved the early check-in and late check-out and will book again.

Awesome views and location. Lovely home!

We will be returning to Merveille. The colours of the cliffs from the sun was forever changing, Waking up to see the clouds in the valley was stunning. The house was gorgeous, warm, clean and had everything we needed. The beds are divine and the bed warmers that had 9 heat settings across 4 zones (body and legs, left and right). The spa was very relaxing after a day of bushwalking to the falls. The host was lovely and helpful. This is the best holiday home we've rented in Australia.

The perfect location

The property is literally at the end of Falls Road - the last house over looking the valley. Electric gate ensures privacy. Wrap around windows with lots of natural light which is important for me. Stunning property with big outdoor seating areas and wrap around decking with tables and chairs. Beds are super comfy. Second visit now - needed some time away and this is the perfect location.

Awesome views and a gorgeous house.

The views from the master bedrooms, kitchen and loungeroom are gorgeous. We had a wonderful holiday at Merveille and will come back again. It was very clean, warm, very comfortable beds and had everything we wanted. The host was terrific and very helpful.

Very special place- sensational views, beautiful home

The location of this house is absolutely sensational- minutes from the walks and lookouts around Wentworth Falls, and beautiful grounds. The views are just magical and sunrise and sunset are especially special. We loved being able to cook every night, and took advantage of some great bakeries in Katoomba and Wentworth falls to stock up. The weather was pretty wild while we were there so would recommend that people pack plenty of layers so that you can still get out and about and enjoy the amazing location- the only improvement that could be made to the house is better heating however we did appreciate the electric blankets and super comfy beds. Thanks so much, we loved our stay.

Beautiful house very clean in a wonderful location. House was very cold as A/C struggled with large glass areas and bare floor boards where cold air came up. There was little hot water for showers at night with our small family of 5 someone missed out even though showers were kept to minimum. No free to air TV stations on the TV in the lounge / family room.

Unethical practice

The property itself is ok. We had a problem with the heat, it only heated up to 18°C. And one morning it dropped to 12°C, we contacted the property manager. He did responded and sent someone to check it. It was back to 18°C. The real problem is the unethical practice after we checked out. We got a message claiming two bath sheets were missing, thus charged us 10 times the market price for each, plus a hefty administration fee. Further more, as we didn't use the dishwasher to wash the dishes, although we hand washed all those dishes, another hundred is charged. Not to mention that we have already paid above average cleaning fee. The property manager did not respond to our inquiry for the charges. We spent total of two weeks in Australia, checked into another hotel in Sydney right after the stay. It was ridiculous to charge us to steal two bath sheets. And we've been traveling around the world, stayed in many high end properties and hotels, this is the first time we encountered such a situation. This kind of practice should not be allowed on Vrbo. We have filed a complaint with Vrbo. Travelers be aware.
