'Big lobby for this class of hotel. Breakfast was nice with taco eggs along with regular scrambled eggs. Coffee was better tasting than other hotels in same class. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance including Broadway pizza restaurant onsite. 2 negatives: Bed could have been better and bathroom lacked counter space.'

'Hotel Vandivort was way more luxe than I was expecting for Springfield, MO. And downtown was HOPPING on a Friday night-- cocktails downstairs and room amenities upstairs were really nice. A couple little things: 1) just one elevator to our room in the annex and the rooftop bar meant we were having to wait a LOT along with bar goers to get up and down. And although I was totally charmed that we got a turntable and records in our room, there was something wrong with the speakers and we couldn't...

'The room was fine, nothing too fancy, but it was clean. The pool area (which is why we booked this hotel) was phenomenal, out youngest daughter loved it. I really enjoyed the retro look of the hotel and the Fire and Ice hotel restaurant was great. The pizza from the pizzeria was also good.'
