'We have stayed at the Surf Hotel a number of times and it remains one of our favorite hotels. We book a river front room with a balcony overlooking the Arkansas River and are never disappointed. The rooms are beautiful, the staff super friendly and helpful. '

We had a little trouble with our first room (no hot water), and the staff moved us to a new room without a problem. The breakfast was fresh and offered many choices. 'This is one of the hidden gems hotel. We were a little to early, because of the light traffic underway. But we could check in immediately and enter the room. The room was fantastic. Spacious and super clean. Beds were very comfy. Loved the digital doorlock. No worry’s for not working keycards. Breakfast was also great. Lot of choices and very friendly staff. Location is perfect. Close to downtown and highway. If we come back to Salida, we will stay here again !!'
