Motels in Southwest Illinois

'I didn't even get out of my car at this one. There is nothing around except the truck stop next door. This is not a place for a traveling female, but for truckers. That "little" fact was not included in the description.'

'I found a tick in the bed that bit me twice. The WiFi code was expired. The bed was hard as a rock. There was no land line to call the office. I had to go to the restaurant to communicate. The sausage at breakfast was horrible. I had to spit it out. I made them give me credit for the second night. I told them I was not going to stay there another night. They did credit me on that but should have reimbursed on the first night also but I didn’t ask them to do that .'

'The room was comfortable, but the bathroom could use some updating and be cleaned more thoroughly. The A/C was ok as it kept turning on and off a lot and was noisy. The breakfast choices was wonderful. Fresh fruit, yogurts, danishes, bagels with cream cheese, chicken and biscuits sandwiches, OJ, coffee, milk, and cereal.'

'It was a nice clean room. The sink is not in the bathroom, which I didn’t catch in the pictures, I just don’t prefer that set up. The people were very nice. The “road noise” other people mentioned wasn’t an issue for us although we were in the front of the motel. '

'The hotel was in very poor disrepair. It was very dingy and old. It smelled really bad when we walked in. They were not any decent towels or toiletries. There were no blankets for the bed just a thin sheet. There was drunk loud people outside our room most of the night. All the pillows were extremely flat like a half an inch thick.'
