Blokhutten in Southwest Illinois

'Went to visit kids who live in the area. Normally we get a hotel but decided to try doing something different. This was so much better than hotels and plan to go back next time we are down.'

'The cabin was great! A few little extras for a welcome package. Did not skimp on the towels and bedding. Great decor. Loved it!!!'

'Beautiful all the way around!'

'Allison was very quick at responding if anything popped up during our stay. She was efficient and effective with her communication. The pond was AMAZING and our dog Raven had an absolute blast! Thank you for allowing your space to host dogs as well so we could have this great weekend with our family!'

'High quality room, with farm privacy and atmosphere. We would recommend it and stay there again. Only one thing: The ladder to the loft bedroom is quite steep. My wife struggled a bit with it. But then, she is in her late 60's. Nevertheless, a good place that we will recommend. A/C worked well, and was needed. Room very clean. We hardly saw staff, which was fine, as we enjoyed our privacy.'

'Very pleasant experience!'

'The cottage was clean, spacious, had 2 bathrooms (which is uncommon for small cabins). It was very well stocked with kitchen items, and the bath towels were awesome, the bed was very nice. It was peaceful and beautiful. The hostess, Suzie was easy to contact and helpful when we had a question upon checking ìn. I would recommend this place and would stay again if we are in the area!'

'Quiet and small. A perfect little pond for a little bit of fun. Perfect and private. Exactly what we needed.'
