Pensions in Zuidoost Ierland

'Avoid! We stayed mid-Sept (2026) and were excited to try an adventure of a room 'in a pub'. It was a horrific experience and we departed early. We (3 women) had the courtyard triple room (#23). As soon as we entered the room, we noticed a dampness and a strong smell of mildew. We thought heat would help but the radiator would not turn on; we went to the bar staff (part of the problem is that there is no on-site manager to resolve issues) and the bar staff told us the heat is not turned on until...

'Clean, newly renovated rooms. Very friendly staff. Good food.'

'The Location , comfort , staff ,'

'Room was beautiful and comfortable. Breakfast was so delicious and included all homemade breads. The owners were so friendly and helpful during our stay.'

'Cute place to stay above a lovely pub and on the water. Good value for money. Pros: dog friendly, beach access, beverage tray with sparkling water and tea/instant coffee and a kettle (always nice). Little things that could be improved: there was no full size bath towel, just a hand towel and shower mat, window had been left ajar for fresh air (which is great) but meant that by the time I arrived, there were a ton of knats/midges/little bugs inside and outside the window.'

'Was even zoeken, leuke kroeg en kamer niet in alle beste staat, maar voor kort verblijf lekker basic.'
