« Nice hotel, comfy bed & plenty of space in the room. Nice to have an extra sink & fridge with decent size freezer. Breakfast was good, hot items - eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles. When things ran out (yogurt) they were not replenished. Overall a good value in a really scenic area. »
« This was a really chic boutique hotel. I loved the exposed brick and wood from the former lumber mill/brewery. The bed was was more comfortable with nicer sheets than the average hotel. The staff were very pleasant and helpful at every interaction. »
« My first time staying at the Water Street Inn. Belinda on Kare11 often mentions it during her weather piece. I enjoyed my Victorian appointed room. »
« This establishment is situated in an old restored home. It still has the original wooden floors, doors and fixtures. Internet access was very simple and worked perfectly. Location of this house is within walking distance of Main Street, home to many restaurants and antique shops. A walkable linear path over the lift bridge.
Very good customer service. We experienced a power outage which lasted 5 hours. We received a partial refund. Even though it did not affect us, a tree was blown...
« Everyone was very friendly and check in was fast. 2 free cocktails were provided per guest after 5 pm. The breakfast was fabulous with fresh made to order omelets. The building is a little dated but clean. The roads in Minneapolis are horrible and confusing with road construction everywhere. »
« Peter at the front desk has to be the most delightful and helpful person we have had the pleasure of dealing with at any hotel we have ever stayed. As he told me when I complemented him "it is not that hard to be nice to people." So true and that really put a positive spin on this hotel. Highly recommended! »
