Sapphire beach is an amazing area! We had our coffee every morning looking at the ocean view from the condo! Restaurants and bars with in walking distance. Lots of towels, beach chairs, snorkels, books, card games, pool noodles at the condo for use which was so handy!Condo was as pictured and for our my husband and I and our 3 children was just enough room!It could use a deep clean though. Cabinets are very dirty, dishes were dirty inside the cupboard, a good deep clean and it would be perfect. I wanted to sweep up sand and could not find a broom either. Otherwise overall it was wonderful!!! I would come back tomorrow!

The property was nice and worked perfect for us! It smelled clean when we walked in. It is beach front, which was important for us. The chairs on the beach were nice- definitely beats having to drag chairs from the unit to the beach. The area was quiet and felt very safe. The owner was responsive. We had a great time on the island (this was our first time). There are two restaurants in short walking distance that we ate at multiple times during our stay- one was a pizza place and then another bar/restaurant right beside it. They were both great! Even for our picky eaters. The power did go out three different times for an extended amount of time, but we didn’t mind- we lit candles and played cards by the candle light. The pool was nice and in close proximity to the unit. There is a grocery store in close driving distance (go to Cost u less and Kmart… avoid “the food center” grocery store unless you want to pay outrageous prices). The only suggestion I would make- I like to cook-in the unit a lot while we vacation- there were very limited things to cook with as far as pots and pans. The dishwasher wasn’t working but someone was scheduled to come work on it. Norma stopped to check in and knocked on the door. It took my husband a minute to get to the door. She opened the door and my husband met her in the door. I thought that was a little odd. Overall, we had a great stay and very much enjoyed our week on the island! We would definitely rent again.

First timers to USVI

Easy Check in. The condo has just been renovated along with the entire property. We picked this location for the access to the best beach and the fact that it also had tennis courts ( brought our own rackets and balls ) which was a huge plus for us. The pool located right next to the tennis courts was great also. Over all, great communications with the host. We had a couple of problems that came up that were quickly addressed, and I would highly recommend renting this unit. It does have a queen size bed, pull out couch, and a trundle bed for two. Easy access to the ferry to go to St. John’s also. We thoroughly enjoyed Sapphire, Beach ( beach chairs come with your stay) , and the restaurant and cafe ( coffee and breakfast ) on the property. We will be back .

The condo and location was perfect. Right by a beautiful beach and a couple places to eat and drink. We liked it enough that we probably wouldnt even look for another place to stay next time. I was a little bit confused initially checking in. The bed seemed to have a broken spring . Overall it was great, and we were very happy and comfortable.

Great Getaway

This was my family's first trip to St. T. We chose Christian's place for the beachfront location and proximity to other awesome beaches - Secret Harbor, Megans, and Coki beaches are a short drive and great for lounging, swimming and snorkeling.When a property is listed as "Luxury" I take that with a grain of salt. As a result, my expectations were exceeded. The place is super clean with a pleasant beach theme and modern decor. The kitchen is very well stocked for food prep (we appreciated the Parmesan packets). The Internet was fast and reliable.I had only minor gripes: The electric locks are finicky, but there are keys, if you want to use them. Crystal Cove is a gated community, so we felt safe. (Actually, we felt safe everywhere we went on the island.) The master bedroom mattress is on the soft wide. I prefer a mattress that is more firm, but my wife and I slept fine.I tell ya', there's nothing like waking up to the rooster's crow, making a pot of coffee and walking fifty yards to sit on the beach and savor it, as the sun rises over the bay. And later...repeat with a piña colada from the beach bar (or concoct your own with the kitchen blender).P.S. Recommendation... if you're coming from the airport and have a car, stop at the Pueblo supermarket for provisions. The market in Red Hook is higher-end but really expensive, like 12 for a dozen eggs expensive.

Never Again

The property is listed as "Luxury". It is far from that. Driveway and parking lot pavement is broken. Unit is old, rundown, and it was not clean. Mold and mildew in the unit. So-called patio is dirty, fence falling down. Coded door locks difficult to use. TV did not work except for Netflix and Prime. Other little things, like wrong size coffee filters.

Perfect Location on Sapphire Beach

As we look back on a great week of vacation, the condo helped to make it a pleasant stay. We arrived a couple of hours early to see if the condo was available to find the previous renters just vacated and the place was a wreck. I quick phone call to Christian and the caretaker-Norma was there within 45 minutes. And what she did to the place while we had lunch, was amazing, she's amazing!! So what could have been a big initial disappointment turned our great and set the tone for the week! Before Norma left, she said if you need laundry done, call me and she would take care of it (towels, bedding, etc.) The condo was well supplied with everything you could want from kitchen utensils, glasses and plates, cookware to books, games and beach essentials. The furnishings were nice and the three beds were comfy. The condo has great views of the beach and beyond and was a quick 1 minute walk to the beach that even had complimentary beach loungers. Sapphire Beach if a great location on the east end of the island and is within 20 mins to Magen's Bay and less into Red Hook shopping and dining. We would stay at this condo again in the future!

Paradise

This is our second year staying in Crystal Cove. It is a hidden gem. We love everything about this place. The grounds are beautiful and swimming with sea turtles is icing on the cake. It is a great location with everything we need just a short drive away. We had 2 condos with 8 people in our party and everyone was highly satisfied. We will be returning next year.

We loved our stay at Sugar Sand! Everything was wonderful. Great location and beautiful beach. Condo had everything we could need. The only thing I can think of to critique would be we could've used a few more beach towels but not a huge deal! Would absolutely rent here again! Thanks for sharing your wonderful place!

Great Location

We arrived late due to flight delays, the property felt safe to walk into after dark. Ms. Norma was incredible. She made sure we had everything we needed for a stress free stay. When she stopped to check on our stay the first morning we were there, we let her know some lights were not working with the switches. Ms Norma checked the breaker box and when that didn’t fix the issue she said the lights would be on soon. She wasn’t kidding! By the time we came to the room from the beach for lunch the lights were working. Plenty of hot water for all three of us to shower without an issue. Several places to eat within walking distance. Chair service at the beach and all of the equipment/ supplies needed in the unit. Great family time!

Great place to stay

This place was very nice to stay at, looks like it was freshly remodeled. The only thing was the hot water was not working properly when we first got there, but the host had someone out there and it worked the rest of the trip. Great stay!

Great beach escape

The property certainly was as described and had everything you could possibly need already in the Condo for a great beach escape making for a nice stay. The three of us thought the accommodations were more than adequate to suit our needs, and being so close to the beautiful sandy beach was just what we had hoped for.

Crystal Cove on Sapphire Beach is the place to be and this condo was a great set up for our family. We had our three young adults with us and they had individual beds available while parents had the room to themselves. Kitchen was a huge plus for cooking and eating our leftovers, with ample counter space and seating, we even used the grill in the back. Plenty of closet space, though no drawers in the bedroom, but plenty in the main living area. Norma was great and easy to connect with on site when we needed anything or had questions. Washing was $6 per small load and same for a 20min dryer - heads up on that. Evening use is best if you absolutely need to wash or dry. Beach access is amazing and there is plenty of food and drink options along the beach and adjacent property. Moe’s is in near by Red Hook and you can pick up anything you need there, including drinking water. Ceiling fans and AC unit kept us plenty cool though we often took cold showers because the tankless water heater was not kicking in (showered at varying times with same results). Overall, this was a great condo in the perfect location and we would happily stay again. I could see they had child safety in place and a high chair and playpens available for families with young children as well.

The best place for home away from home on vacation. This place has everything that you need!!!!!!

The locals are welcoming, the beach is blue, the local wildlife is friendly, and snorkling and scuba diving in this area has the best captains and mates. This whole week was exactly what our family needed. The condo was the perfect size for my family!!!!

Steps to Sugar Sands

Nice condo just steps from the beach. The condo was well equipped. Property has a restaurant, bar, pizza , coffee shop and a gift shop. There are plenty of beach towels , snorkel gear and stuff. The condo is air conditioned. . it is on the nice quiet and beautiful Sapphire beach. This location is very close to Town and the ferry . The only down side is the hot water situation

Lovely Condo and Great Access to one of the best Beaches on St. Thomas

This was our first time visiting the USVI and after a few days of exploring, we realized that Sapphire Beach was one of the best beaches on the island! Easy access to food and drinks was a huge plus and it felt like "the place to be". We loved being within a min walk of the condo. The Crystal Cove staff were all friendly and helpful. We used the laundry room near the office halfway through our stay which really helped. The condo was clean and the large kitchen was wonderful as we were able to save some money and cook our breakfasts and few dinners ourselves. The host provided beach towels which was a nice feature so that we could save our quick-dry towels for traveling to other parts of the island. Would highly recommend for an affordable place to stay with close access to a great beach and within a short distance to the ferry.
