  • This lovely and comfortable condo is more like a townhome and is perfect for friends and families. Use the beautiful tree-lined paths outside the complex to walk to nearby shops and restaurants, or make the short drive to one of 5 public beaches, nearby golf courses, or one of the many historic sites on the island. Spend some time on the island where we know you will enjoy the peace and quiet offered at this wonderful location and discover why this condo is truly Meant to Beach!



    PLEASE NOTE: St. Simons is an island with a tropical, moist, and humid climate. Bugs love this as much as people do, especially in the summer. We have double pest control on our unit. We do everything we can to prevent unwanted visitors during your stay; however, with the climate, it is impossible to ensure that you will not see an unwelcome guest. Luckily, most of them are dead once they are inside, which means the pest control we pay for is doing its job; it does not mean our cleaners are not doing theirs. Please be understanding of the climate and our efforts to make your stay as pleasant and bug-free as possible. If you see any unwanted pests, please let us know during your stay, not in your post-stay review. Our pest control company is a few blocks away and can come anytime. We are happy to do whatever we can to make your stay enjoyable.

Great little spot! We had plenty of room for our family of five and appreciated how close the location is to restaurants and places we wanted to visit. Kris is a great host and was very easy to communicate with!

Comfortable and accommodating condo. Very close to the pool, and parking right up front was also very nice for loading and unloading. The condo had everything we needed and then some. Just had to buy the food and drinks!

This was the perfect property for our group of 4 2 kids. It even had a pack and play for our little one to sleep in, which made traveling easier. And the response time was great for the few questions we had. If we’re ever in the area again we would definitely stay here again.

Our host Katie was wonderful in communicating with us. The house is as described & photos were accurate. It was nice having laundry in the condo. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful host and home!

We truly enjoyed our stay at this property. The home was beautifully decorated and maintained. We loved that cards and games were provided, and we played them each night as a family. Our host was very helpful and responsive and made sure our stay was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again!

My sister and I went for a quick relaxing beach trip. The check in was easy. Very clean and beds were comfy. We will definitely stay again! The host responded quickly with questions we had about our stay.

Great Convenient Location

I booked Meant to Beach while having some repair work done on my home. Kris, the Owner, was easily accessible by phone/text and the location was convenient to pretty much all the local attractions.

Peaceful, indeed.

Nice "home away from home" while visiting the area. I do wish the ice/ water on the refrigerator worked as I personally don't like purchasing bottled water. Also could use a tea kettle. (Again, personal preference) Otherwise, a very comfortable and lovely stay in a very lovely home. Beach gear, extra towels, and outdoor shower were a nice touch!

Pretty good!!

There is actually only one shower in the house - the second shower is an outdoor shower that had a lot of beach toys in it. And the dish washer was pretty old / falling apart. Otherwise we had a great stay. Beds were comfy and the layout was spacious. The decor was pretty as well. Great stay!

The place was nice could use some renovation on outside throughout the community. The pool vould use some newer chairs and some umbrellas. Other then that great.

Stayed Mon–Fri. The good: kitchen well-stocked with basics, tasteful decor, 2 parking spots, great pool-adjacent location for kids, and a host who was responsive and quick to help. Genuine credit there.The rest: the advertised outdoor shower was buried under sand-crusted inflatables and broken boogie boards — spent an hour clearing it just to use it. House smelled musty; a constant drip led us to the utility closet (blocked by a stained couch) where the AC/furnace unit was leaking onto a soaked floor, masked by plug-in air fresheners. Provided pans were too worn/grimy to cook on (borrowed a neighbor's pan to be able to cook breakfast - not joking).More: half-bath door drags on the floor & barely opens, loose toilet seat that nearly gave way, no hand towel or even towel bar in the half-bath, closet doors that pop off their tracks in every bedroom, a kids' room light switch with no light attached, a dead ligh in the shower so cleaning oneself happens mostly by feel, a cracked floor in the bath constantly pinching our feet, a deafening bathroom fan, and a squeaky bed that wakes you at the slightest movement. Stair carpet, kitchen rugs, and bath mats were all visibly dirty. For a 4-night stay with 4 people: 3 rolls of TP, 2 dishwasher pods — none of it enough. Trash curb caddy clearly had not been emptied that week and reeked badly enough that neighbors noticed and commented on it. We dreaded having to walk past it.Nice host, but this needs a serious once-over.

Bachelorette trip

Overall we enjoyed our stay. We felt as though the condo could have been cleaner initially upon arrival. We did have to kill one large bug in the kitchen, which was a lot for 25 year old girls! Haha. The air did not work well in the 2nd bedroom but it wasn’t uncomfortable.
