'We booked the Paramount for a long family weekend. What a beautiful relaxing home base in downtown Portland. check-in was simple and friendly. location close to the Max toand several neighborhoods. The bed was big and comfy. Highly recommend!! pro tip : There is a very safe 24-Hour secured parking lot 1 block West of the front door of the Paramount -only $25 per day with in and out privileges'

'The Viking is one of the 1950s-era motels that are common on Interstate Avenue, from the days when it was one of the main arterials for visitors to Portland from the north. It has been renovated and well-maintained, though, and is a good choice for people looking for reasonably-priced accommodation in north Portland. 'I had a great stay at this hotel. The hotel itself is nice and modern and the room was great. The room was very spacious and comfortable. I liked that there was a mini fridge. The bed was comfy and I liked the couch in the room too. The indoor pool was a nice amenity. My husband tried the breakfast and he thought it was just ok. Also, there’s free parking, which is great.'

'I made a mistake in the date when I booked the hotel in a hurry, on our way driving to California. The front desk was kind enough to accommodate, free of charge. It turned out that the hotel was an excellent choice in every aspect, in addition to the staff at the front desk. This led to our decision to stay there again on our return trip from California. '

'Heel mooi hotel, schoon en grote kamers, maar helaas geen fijne lokatie. Er zijn veel daklozen in de omgeving. Alles om het hotel heen is dicht daardoor. Er rijdt wel regelmatig politie/beveiliging rond.'
