  • Cruz Views ligt verscholen in een tropische heuvel op 160 voet boven de stad Cruz Bay. De units liggen allemaal op het zuidwesten om overdag veel zon en een schilderachtig uitzicht op de turquoise zee te vangen, gedenkwaardige zonsondergangen aan het einde van de dag en de twinkelende lichten van verre eilanden in de nacht. Het is een gemakkelijke wandeling naar Cruz Bay (bergafwaarts), maar de wandeling terug naar Cruz Views is een beetje uitdagender, vooral als je hebt genoten van een paar van de beruchte rum-stoten van het eiland.

    Cruz Views # 07 - Happy Hour is prachtig ingericht oversized hoek appartement met een split-level a / c-eenheid. Gelegen aan de rechterkant en onder het zwembad.

    Happy Hour werd volledig gerenoveerd in 2005 en in 2018 onderging dit appartement extra verbeteringen. Wanneer je voor het eerst door de deur loopt, voel je je verwelkomd door de uitnodigende en comfortabele sfeer. Er zijn genoeg plekken om te ontspannen en te genieten van het geweldige uitzicht op de haven en de vurige zonsondergangen. Vanuit de woonkamer zijn er schuifdeuren die openen naar het buitendek, met stoelen met kussens, een love-seat en voor degenen die privé willen zonnebaden, kunt u 'stralen' in de ligstoelen, terwijl u uitkijkt op de spectaculair uitzicht op Cruz Bay.

    De grote kamer omvat uw woonkamer, keuken en eetgedeelte. De woonkamer heeft een uittrekbare bank met een traagschuimmatras, waar comfortabel 1-2 extra gasten kunnen slapen. De flatscreen kabel-tv is beschikbaar zodat u uw favoriete sportteam of favoriete tv-drama kunt bekijken, en voor degenen die verbonden willen blijven, is er wifi beschikbaar voor u.

    De goed uitgeruste keuken bevindt zich achter de woonkamer en is voorzien van nieuwe kasten, nieuwe werkbladen, een elektrisch 4-pits glazen kookplaat, een broodrooster, magnetron, mixer en koffiezetapparaat, evenals alle keukengerei, borden, potten en pannen. Het eetgedeelte biedt plaats aan 4 personen.

    De slaapkamer bevindt zich een paar trappen vanuit de woonkamer en is voorzien van een queensize bed. Iets verderop in de gang is uw eigen badkamer met stenen en betegelde douche.

    Wij geloven dat u zult genieten van dit prachtige appartement en vele herinneringen zal creëren tijdens elk verblijf op Happy Hour.

Great apartment in a great location

This was our first trip to the Virgin Islands and were blown away by the views from the apartment overlooking Cruz Bay. The sunsets were spectacular. The apartment was well equipped with all our needs addressed. We would advise a rental car if not for the short walk into town but to give easier access to all the incredible beaches.

Great view!

The location was very convenient for us, especially since we had a car, near all of the major roads. The view is fantastic, and the pool area is very nice. The condo is well equipped (dishes, utensils, beach chairs, ice chest, tv & wi-fi). The management staff was responsive. Be aware that the sun (in winter) is very strong on the patio area; we used the patio in the early morning and evening, but it was too hot for the afternoon (when we used the pool area). Also, the A/C unit was broken. Staff brought a bedroom unit and fan, but the situation was less than desirable, especially with the hot sun shining into the living/dining area.

Last minute vacation

We had to change our vacation plans to St.John last minute. The property was perfect and the management was responsive. We thoroughly enjoyed every day. We did have an issue with the AC which was fixed within hours even later in the evening.

Gorgeous views of bay and St. Thomas, clean and safe villa near Cruz Bay

The property itself was absolutely perfect - comfortable dining, sleeping and sitting areas, outside deck and super clean and safe. A little hairy to park but that's just the island. Property management company - mixed reviews. One person was very rude to us but everyone else was great when the air conditioner broke and shower got very moldy and not enough bedding linens. Otherwise, great!

Great location

The pool was a huge plus! The view is cool and it’s very close to town but it is VERY HILLY! The kitchen is well equipped but the “oven” is a toaster oven and is a little hard to use. The bathroom is nice and the bed is comfortable.

St. John Delight

Cruz Views "Happy Hour" was a delight from the minute we unlocked the door. It was clean, well equipped/stocked, comfortable, and lovely. The view is spectacular from the spacious deck. We even made a lil' feline friend! We would definitely stay there again!

Same old reliable condo

Well, this was our fourth stay in the last 8 years at this studio condo. We happened on it just after it had been remodeled at the time. It has a great location overlooking Cruz Bay and the car ferry docks. The condo is very comfortable and cozy for two. There are 2 air conditioning units, one for living/dining and one for the bedroom. Either unit could hold temps for the whole house. We tend to use the A/C every trip to hold down the tropical humidity after a day on the beach. The unit has a nice kitchen with all of the various utensils we need. All in all, This is a great value for the island.

Great location and well equipped!

We really enjoyed our stay at Happy Hour at Cruz Views. The space was very much as described and completely delivered on the views. The outdoor furniture was very comfortable and we enjoyed the amount of outdoor space. Because this is a corner unit, it seemed to have extra space inside and out. The bathroom was nice, can tell it had been updated and the kitchen was functional with plenty of necessary utensils. Just know there is no proper oven, just a toaster oven. Additionaly, it appears some of the other units may have laundry but this one does not. The proximity to the pool was great and the pool area was well kept with plenty of seating. Much of our experience is also based on pretty much having the entire property to ourselves. We only ran into other people twice in 9 days. The only downfall to this property was the hill that you have to climb from town if you don't get a cab. Going down was fine, just take it slow and walk against traffic. Also, verify how late the cabs are running, during slow season the cabs stop early. We also rented a jeep which made getting around really easy especially to the grocery store for drinking water, etc. Restaurant recommendations: De Coal Pot for good Caribbean fare, Longboard for fresh, well made tropical food and Rhumb Lines for great tapas or small bites.
