'We had a good time staying at Hampton Inn San Diego-Kearny Mesa as a family of three. Things that stood out for me was breakfast, courteous staff & cleanliness. Location is just 15-20 min drives to most of the attractions including airport & old town train stations. We haven't used pool & gym facilities but they look good. They have a good lobby & dinning area. Breakfast is better than typical cheap hotels as they include one egg dish & maintain good hygine. '

'Over prized hotel. 800 dollars for two nights is not cheap. You expect the basics to be in order. Because there's nothing really special about this hotel that would justify a high price. My bathroom sink and bath drain were clothed. Showering means standing enkel deep in water. Going by the lines on the bath this is a long time problem. Also there was water on the floor near the toilet. On top of that they forgot to clean my room. And to top it of the wifi is terrible. What didn't make it...
