Välfungerande luftkonditionering och placerat mitt i stan. Personalen var väldigt tillmötesgående och mycket trevliga. Vi trivdes mycket bra!

We stayed for a couple of nights and they didn’t change our towels, internet WAS HORRIBLE, we barely had any connection the whole time we were there, despite the fact that they have 2 networks you can connect to, none of them worked I had to work and couldn’t get a decent connection. The electric kettle doesn’t work, and they only left a small bar soap for us to wash our hand and body. I wouldn’t stay here again.

Super clean room, Deni was great and met us to check in at 11 pm after we got there super late because of traffic. Air conditioning was great and the location can’t be beat.

Bom quarto, Host Deni muito atencioso ao nos receber, nos deixou várias dicas sobre a cidade e restaurantes. Ótima localização na rua pricipal em frente a zara. Porém o prédio é residencial e muito velho, entrada muito escondida e não possui elevadores, 4 andares de escada. Não possui serviços de limpeza e troca de roupas de cama e toalhas.

It was a very good experience. They helped with bags up and down the stairs. Gave local recommendations for both day life and night life. Very reasonable when we said we didn’t have cash for the hotel tax and room cleaning fee. They did try to explain the building having lots of stairs was not their fault but the law of most European countries which we understand we just felt bad because they had to explain that. I guess most people don’t like stairs but I didn’t mind. Wonderful place.

The room was extremely cold, and the stairwell to the apartment on the 4th floor was very stinky. The room itself fidnt even have proper blankets only sheets, so we had to sleep witv hoodies on..

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Una experiencia excelente, de principio a fin Nuestra experiencia en Luxury Rooms ha sido realmente muy buena y merece, sin duda, una excelente valoración. Desde que entramos en la habitación tuvimos una sensación muy positiva. Todo estaba muy limpio, cuidado y en perfectas condiciones. La decoración era agradable y acogedora, el aire acondicionado funcionaba perfectamente y la cama era muy cómoda, algo fundamental después de un día visitando la ciudad. El armario estaba perfectamente conservado y el baño estaba impecablemente limpio, algo que para nosotros marca una gran diferencia a la hora de valorar un alojamiento. También tuvimos una buena experiencia con la televisión y el Wi-Fi, que funcionaron sin ningún problema. La ubicación es otro de los grandes atractivos. Está en una zona excelente, muy cerca de las principales atracciones del casco antiguo y, además, con playas, centros comerciales, supermercados, bares y restaurantes muy próximos. Esto hace que sea un alojamiento muy práctico tanto para hacer turismo como para disfrutar de la ciudad. También queremos destacar la atención recibida a nuestra llegada. Nos recibió un chico muy amable que realizó el check-in de forma rápida, sencilla y sin complicaciones, algo que siempre se agradece después de un viaje. En definitiva, una estancia cómoda, limpia, agradable y en una ubicación fantástica. Lo recomendamos al 100% y no dudaríamos en volver a alojarnos aquí.

Cute clean spot in Old Town Split

We had a lovely stay at Bastion. Don’t be fooled the area directly outside the apartment as the interior is very nice. It was a little tricky to get inside but they were quite responsive via WhatsApp. Overall the room and clean and comfortable and had great AC. The area is very central to everything you need in Split. Great value!

Wonderful room in a great location

Our stay was perfect. We were only in Split for 2 days and Bastion couldn't have been a better place. Perfect location right by the old city..close to tons of shops and restaurants. The room was modern and well appointed. Our host Toma was excellent. He met us at the front door and carried our luggage all the way to the room. A short while later he sent us texts with recommendations for dining, shopping, beaches, nightlife etc. Very helpful. A perfect stay.

Wonderful!

Loved our stay at Bastion. Do see that it is on the 4th floor. But the owner hauled our luggage up! Older style but clean and very well kept. You are in the Old Town section so it’s just foot traffic, no cars. (Although owner would help you with that).

Inside the room is nice, basic, clean and convenient. Not “luxury “, but ok. Everything I needed for a couple days except the hot water pot didn’t work. A balcony was advertised but you can’t go outside and the French doors are hard to lock. The air conditioner remote was difficult to operate. I never met a manager or owner but the communicated fine on WhatsApp. It’s only a few rooms and a young man met me the first day to give me keys and carry my luggage up 4 high stories to the space. That was very appreciated because it’s actually 8 flights of steps! Note the outside of the building and lobby is quite shabby, dirty and poorly lit. It’s a typical apartment building with many other tenants and not a reflection of the condition of the hotel rooms. I would suggest to the owner to clean up and maintain the outside a bit and put a motion light at the front door. There were shady guys around the front area, one was begging, another approached me and wouldn’t leave me alone, and the vibe was generally weird on that corner. I made sure not to stay out late. Otherwise the area didn’t feel unsafe, just right in front of the door where it was dark. There were usually other people were around.
