'Great hotel fantastic staff'

'Lovely hotel, beautiful old main house with wood fires, panelled rooms, lots of lounges and spots to relax. Friendly reception and clean modern rooms in the mews. Plus two cats! Only thing to mention is that the signs for the outbuildings were a bit difficult to see when we arrived (in the dark & heavy rain), maybe they could be illuminated too? Otherwise a nice place to stay, we would like to go back and explore more of the history, grounds, bunker and restaurant.'

'Courteous reception staff and although we knew we had arrived early (as we were having afernoon tea down the road, as the room was ready we were allowed to check in early, which saved leaving things in a cold car for a few hours. Room was spacious and quiet with great facilities, toiletries, coffee machine, bottles of water etc which were replenished daily. Great breakfast options with tea and coffee refills on request. 'Als je van klassiek en antiek houdt, dan is dit zo'n hotel. Gezellige zitjes overal, mooie eetzaal, lekker Engels ingericht. Kamers zijn mooi en de eerste koffie 's morgens heerlijk, want er staat een Nespresso-apparaat, hoera. Prima parkeerplaatsen achter het hotel (valet-parking). Winkels en restaurantjes (ook een Indiaas rest.) op loopafstand; Broadway is en blijft een leuk dorp.'

'All very good! Room/bathroom lovely and very clean. The ambiance around the hotel felt good. I ordered room service, my food was very good. Bar prices are also reasonable, I must say, cheaper than around Oxfordshire! so that was very well received by myself and good quality alcohol it was indeed.'
