« Spotlessly clean, super location and the parking space was a godsend with how busy Broadway is during New Year. Having stayed in the village for the past 15 years this was one of the best properties that I have stayed in. »

« Très bien pour une étape dans la région. Nous avions une grande chambre familiale avec un lit double et 2 lits simples sous les toits. Chambre propre, salle de bain correct. Thé/café et petits gâteaux offerts. Nous avons dîné au restaurant de l'hôtel, les plats sont typiques et bons. Petit déjeuner complet à la carte et en self service. Personnel très aimable. Petit parking, il n'y avait plus de places quand nous sommes arrivés et c'est difficile de se garer dans la ville. »

« I would not recommend this property which I will explain below. When you arrive at the property you go through a corridor to a courtyard that has 4 rooms. The courtyard was nice but unfortunately it is all gravel which makes pulling suitcases difficult. The twin room is called the Hobbit Hole and it truly is. This is a room about the size of a walk in closet with a bed squeezed in horizontally and one vertically, neither bed has room for a night stand or lamp. There is a small desk between the...

« The new Hyll hotel (replacing Charingworth manor) is a wonderful place for a quiet time in a traditionnal manor decorated in a very modern way. Everything is fine : - rooms : the newly decorated rooms are very well equipped with wonderful beds. - break »

« Lovely grounds and building. The staff, especially Shabila, were welcoming. Shabila is relentless in ensuring that everything is satisfactory. We stayed on a Sunday and so it wasn’t busy and there was a relaxed atmosphere. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. We had a good price for the room, so it was excellent value for money. The only suggestion would be to look at the heating in the Pear Tree rooms. It was very hot. »

« Luxurious room! We splurged for the nicer room and wow! Wonderful staff, good beer selection. We needed to leave early the next morning so the chef packed us a picnic breakfast with lots of fruit, a blt sandwich, crackers and jams and cookies. Ate it on a hill overlooking a field of sheep and the town below. So memorable! »
