'Apartment is very small with no living space. We brought several concerns to the host’s attention but they were not addressed. Our main concern was that there were no apparent smoke or CO detectors, a single egress and the only fire extinguisher was in a box under a sink. This violates CT fire code. Temperature is set by host for entire building. It was cold and host told us space heater was provided to address the issue. 'Five of us wound up staying. We were celebrating birthdays and just wanted somewhere to enjoy each other‘s company and relax. Originally planned for six people it would have been two in the full size bed so five was just right actually. The place is comfortable and on a quiet street close to everything. This owner was very prompt with responses and helpful with information. It was really very nice. '
