« The only two downsides were a lack of WiFi and cell service (only available in the main house) and no GPS. They do send you very detailed directions, but if you are wholly unfamiliar with the area, it can be a little unsettling to be on winding roads outside of civilization with no cell service. I admittedly panicked (we drove for 12 straight hours overnight), and our friend was on the verge of declaring us missing because he couldn't get in touch with us. « We were visiting Marlinton, WV to bicycle ride the Greenbriar Trail. This house was perfect as you could ride to the trail within a few minutes. The house is also close to restaurants and a bike shop. The bed was very comfortable. The bed and bathroom linens were excellent. There is a cute kitchen with all the equipment you would need for a meal. Also chilled mugs for your beer. Overall we had a great stay and will be recommending to our friends. »

« September 6-8, we had a great time at Roger's cabin. We came specifically to take the train ride in Cass. The cabin was very nice, clean, comfortable, roomy, had everything we needed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch which had a gate to keep our dog from wandering. Also had a zip line leash for dogs, and water bowls. We noticed no fire wood there, so we didn't use the fire pit. Perhaps because it's been so dry there. We had some confusion about which driveway was the correct cabin, but...

« Nice, very clean chalet cabin located in a quiet location. Photos are accurate, hot tub was clean and hot, a/c and fridge worked well. I would stay at location again. »

« Absolutely top-tier. I have stayed in many vacation rentals around the country, and this was the best equipped, best value property I have ever seen. They truly thought of everything when equipping the home - down to having kitchen shears in the silverware drawers, a host of fun games (that we didn't have time to use, but my daughter loved stacking the giant Connect4 pieces) and even flashlights in the bedside tables (I assume in the case of a power outage or something.) « Exactly what we wanted - remote and with a good view of the night sky for stargazing. Directions were accurate and it was easy to get the keys and get in. Might want to come back sometime! »

« We had a very nice stay here! »

« Such a cute cabin, close to the road but feels like it's secluded in the woods. Went for a little Dad and daughters trip with my little dog and it was perfect for us. Cabin was very comfortable - had plenty of dishes to cook, beds were super comfortable, shower was nice and hot. The property is big and we were able to explore around the yard, have bonfires, and cook on the grill. Will definitely be coming back to stay next time I need a little getaway. »

« A very charming renovation to an old country store and the fishing pond was a great bonus. The owner was prompt in responses and accommodating with requests. My only suggestions would be to add mirrors in bedrooms for "getting ready" and some hooks or small clothing rack to hang things on. Everything else was generously provided. »

« Exactly as described. Very comfortable beds, very clean, perfectly and meticulously maintained. The game room was fantastic. Propane ran out on outside FP and was replaced immediately. Very responsive, I’d stay here again and the host was amazing in her communication! One issue is parking…there is only room for one vehicle and it’s not much room, the driveway is less than 5ft long. I was able to park parallel to the property, but barely only because it’s summer and there’s no snow and no one...
