« Our weekend at Rory’s home was everything and then some. The hospitality was truly unmatched. Rory bought us a new grill, provided pizza, and gave us fantastic suggestions to go do in the area. There was so much to do around the house between using the kayaks during the day and ending the night by the bonfire. I highly recommend staying here for a weekend getaway, reunion, or even to just unwind and get away from the city. 10/10 experience, would absolutely stay here again! »

« This house was absolutely charming ! There was so many additions that every time we looked we found hidden gems all over the house -inside and out ! Across the street was the beach which is rocky so wear water shoes if your feet are sensitive. Had a fun time sitting in the porch area and people watching. »

« We had a great time. The house was exactly as advertised and had everything we needed -- bath AND beach towels, wifi, comfortable and spacious bedrooms, outdoor spaces attached to three of four bedrooms, lots of TVs, reasonably stocked kitchen, VERY fun game room, laundry, sunny office with a printer and paper! Walk half a block to get to the beach. Down the beach not far is a playground, and not much farther than that a boardwalk and bike rental (though that place can be flaky about when...

« Great stay to be so close to the lake. Provided plenty of lake accessories so you would need to pack minimal equipment. The pictures are a little deceiving as you are on top of a steep hill with Route 39 (which is busy) between the house and dock. We brought our dogs who are well behaved and stay pretty close. I would be concerned if my dog did not have good recall or young children. However, being situated on top of the hill provides a nice view! »

The hosts were very welcoming, kind, and helpful. Everything was easily and clearly communicated. Anything we needed they were happy to help with. « Kerry’s place was absolutely amazing. The property matches the photos exactly but the pictures don’t even do justice to the view this property has. You are right on the water, within 5-10 min from town and have all the best amenities. I would highly recommend staying here and definitely will look to stay here again in the future. Thanks Kerry! »

« Short getaway for our anniversary. Great little spot on the lake. Lots of places to hang out and take in the view, either in the sun, or shade or at night. Enjoyed the kayaks and especially the paddle boat. Grilled and ate dinner on the porch, and enjoyed the fire pit at night. Plus, got to bring our doggie too. Recommend you stay and enjoy. »

« Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefĂŒhlt in dem kleinen, aber sehr gemĂŒtlichen Haus. Die Betten waren sehr bequem und die Gegend sehr ruhig, sodass wir immer entspannt schlafen konnten. Den Kindern hat insbesondere der Keller mit dem Tischkicker gefallen. Die Lage war perfekt, um alle Highlights in Connecticut in kurzer Zeit erreichen zu können. Absolut empfehlenswert. »
