Trivago and Expedia rated this property a 7.2; I would give it a 2.5. There were water-leak damages in the ceiling of my room that had not been repaired. The rug in front of the door was stained. The toilet paper was the cheapest junk ever—it shredded in my hands. Seriously? Awful stuff. The property itself was in substandard condition. The bed was clean and so was the bathroom—so kudos to the maids.
I had to check in 10 minutes early so get to an appointment. The desk clerk wouldn't let me do it without an additional $35 fee. Nor would he let me check in 5 minutes early. He said he'd get in trouble with his boss. Ridiculous; the room was obviously ready. But there was no bending.
The next day I was in a hurry and my key wouldn't work. Another problem at the desk.
During the night there was a loud party going on in the room next to me from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m. I banged on the wall. I called the front desk—twice. Nothing was done about it. The front desk said they called the room but no one answer. Of course they didn't! He said he wasn't allowed to leave the front desk. So nothing was done. I hardly slept all night. Another problem at the desk.
I would never recommend this property to anyone. It has to be worth it to spend a few more dollars to stay somewhere else.
