Pensions in Zuidelijke Stille Oceaan

'We booked our stay for 10 days. The days flew by as we enjoyed our room, shower, fan, and proximity to the beach. Paea and her kids were so kind to us! '

'Restaurant was good and the staff was kind!'

'My wife and myself stayed at the antelope guesthouse and we were so glad we did clean rooms great aircon staff couldn’t help enough ideal location close to everything great price clean pool . That is where we will be staying again if anyone has negative rating on this place it because they haven’t traveled'

'Like sharing a house with friends. A bit of noise from the family; but very clean and well supplied. We were comfortable and it was great to support the local people.'

'Disappointing Experience – Unreliable and Unprofessional Service The night before check-in, the owner unexpectedly questioned an already confirmed and paid booking. Upon arrival, it became apparent that the property had been double-booked and was unavailable. An alternative property was offered, but its condition and location were deeply concerning. Situated beside a junkyard, the accommodation was accessible only via several stairs leading to a small basement-style unit. Local residents also...

'perfect for a stopover; nicely located near the citycentre, nice little swimmingpool, a fan and an airco that you can turn off, perfect and reliable airport service for clients. Good shower, watercooker, fridge. Good bed. Nice hosts, helpful. '

'Spacious 3 bedroom villa with great air conditioning in bedrooms, wonderful deck and plunge pool. Handy to have washing machine. Close to good restaurants. Welcome guide would be helpful or more communication with host / front desk re garbage etc. We had no mosquitoes and sat outside at dusk and in the evenings. Wonderful stay!'

You can get a 3 day tourist bus pass for 1 franc (a bus ride is 4 francs) but the busses stop running at 4:00 local time. The closest grocery store (outstanding selection of fresh fruit & veggies, meats, and...

'Overall, I thought it was nice and comfortable. Google maps originally took me to the wrong place, but we got it sorted out. They seem to have a fair number of animals - besides a couple of dogs and a cat, I definitely heard a rooster as well. So it could be a little disruptive overnight when you're trying to sleep if you're not used to that sort of thing.'
