This Austrian style chalet offers the perfect romantic getaway in both summer and winter. This two bedroom has a peek a boo lake view, a wood burning fireplace two decks from which to view the forest or spectacular sunsets over the lake. This home features a small children's playroom off of garage area. As of June 30, 2021 this home will only be available for 31+ night rentals.

Fashioned after a quaint Austrian village,Tahoe Tyrol is the only swiss style community in South Lake Tahoe. Minutes from the casinos and ski areas, this one-of-a-kind vacation paradise offers a community pool (summer only), spa, and picnic area overlooking the lake. Situated on fourty wooded acres in a private community, the Tyrol offers year round pleasure and relaxation. Working while on Vacation? Great location

I stayed at Tahoe Tyrol for 6 weeks. The location is great, only 2'-3' drive away from Heavenly California Lodge, 10' away from supermarkets and stateline. The house itself is very nice, it has a well equipped kitchen, the bedrooms and bathrooms are quite big, and beds are comfortable. I was working from home the whole time I was there and I had no issues with the wifi. One minor issue is that the smaller bedroom gets a little bit of noise when the heater is blowing air, but it wasn't a problem for me. I would stay there again.

Great place!

We had a great stay at this property! It was much bigger than the pictures make it out to be, which was a plus since we were staying with our friends and their two kids. We had enough room in the kitchen, dining, and living area for all of us to hang out, so that was nice. It was very clean and the fact that there are two bathrooms is a plus. The patios are awesome and the grill worked great. Our only complaint was the check in process. I didn't receive any information on how to check in, so I sent a message and they called me promptly. They told me my lockbox # and code, so I let my friends know because they were going to be there before me. My friend could not find the lockbox, so she called the number on the house. She said the lady was kind of rude and told her that the lockboxes are not at the location, they are 15 minutes away at their main office. That was frustrating because she had a car full of groceries and had to drive 15 minutes away and 15 minutes back, not to mention the time it took to look for the box and call to get the information of where it is. I looked in my junk folder once we got there and found 27 emails all sent on the day we were checking in with a link to do so. We were driving to Tahoe that day, so it was quite hard trying to check my junk folder with service cutting in and out. We would have given this property 5 stars if they either sent that email a day ahead of time so we had the information prior, or better yet, if there was just a lockbox on the property. Besides that, everything was great!
