« A perfect place to stay in Cheddar! The view is beautiful, and farm eggs kindly offered by Paul and Juddy, delicious! The cottage is equiped with everything you need- including a stove and a microwave. The road to the farm looks a little steep at first, but I had no problem going up the hill with my regular, "economy" rental car. Paul and Judy gave me great tips to enjoy my quick halt in Bath. Le jardin à l’avant du cottage est adorable ( nous avons eu la chance de venir au printemps et de profiter du fleurissement -et un écureuil est même venu nous rendre visite). « Perfect for our visit. In the area for a wedding and it really filled the bill for my wife, myself, our son and daughter and our young granddaughter. Co-op store across the street. Coffee and bakery 50 feet away. Pub with meal service 500 feet up the lane. Comfortable, large, well equipped, and charming. Will stay again at the next opportunity. Great communication with the owner and easy access to the property. »

« Lovely cottage, good communication with the host from t1he start. Lots of room, plenty seating. Kitchen was well equipped, though there is no dryer which was on the listing, not needed as heatwave and clothes line in the garden. .Good garden for the dogs to stretch their legs in. They did bark at everyone walking past, there is a common use alley way runs beside it. Parking in the road, but never a problem. Watch out for the little step from the kitchen to the outdoor area. « We found the directions from the M5 complicated. We found that is was far easier to drive via Wedmore. The frying pan was a disaster. We did not know how to operate the cv. Calling the owner did not help as he doesn't understand that things work different on the continent. His explanations made me even more confused. The same as the shower did not work. « The Crows Nest is a beautiful period property situated in a lovely quiet location overlooking the sea. The views are stunning. Porlock weir has a lovely pub with friendly staff . An ideal location for a quiet rest. The coastal path is close by and Porlock village only 2 miles down the road. The property had all we needed for our short break . I would love to return some day . »
