THE PROPERTY:


Welcome home to Silver Creek 5606, a unique seventies-inspired home away from home that will become your “go to” place for all your Snowshoe Mountain vacations!


Take a nostalgic trip down memory lane! Enjoy preparing and eating your meals in the sleek and modern kitchen with butcher block countertops. This kitchen will leave you wanting for nothing.


Feeling groovy? Kick back in the stylishly comfortable living room. And, if you’re feeling a little nostalgic, fix yourself a martini by the bar while you put some records on the retro turntable. Rod Stewart, REO Speedwagon, or Chicago? Yes, please! Choose from one of the many vinyl record collections and remember the 70’s, the decade of bell bottoms, pet rocks, and disco!


When it’s time to hit the sack, head to the fresh and chic bedrooms, with a balance of retro and modern. The master bedroom features a queen bed with an electric fireplace, and a modern en suite bathroom. The second bedroom, also with a modern en suite bathroom, is on the opposite side of the property, has a queen bed, a queen over double bunk bed, and a desk for all your computer needs.

THE RESORT:


At 4,848 feet, Snowshoe Mountain has the best skiing south of Vermont and east of Colorado, and is the perfect all-season destination in West Virginia’s Allegheny Mountains. You’re sure to find an activity to keep all your family members happy.
Winter – With an average yearly snowfall of 180 inches, the mountain offers 250 acres of skiable terrain, 61 slopes, 12 lifts, night skiing in Silver Creek, and 5 terrain parks for all skill levels. When you feel like taking a break from skiing or snowboarding, try out other activities such as the Coca-Cola Tubing Park, Polaris RZR tours, snowmobile tours, and horse-drawn sleigh rides, to name a few.
Summer – Enjoy the Snowshoe Bike Park with 40 downhill trails at your disposal. Other activities include hiking, horseback riding, geocaching, clay shooting, golfing, kayaking, paddle boarding, fishing, relaxing by Shavers Lake, etc.


ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Please be courteous and considerate of the other guests and abide by the quiet hours from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM.
Party away on the mountain or at a local restaurant. But, please, no parties in the condo.
Free shuttle to Old Spruce Brewery (about a mile down the road), which has some of the best food and beer on the mountain. On the same bus stop as Old Spruce Brewery, you’ll find SnowCreek Mountain Sports, where you’ll receive an exclusive 20% discount voucher for your winter rental equipment when you book with EDH Rentals.

Please check Snowshoe’s website for hours, openings, and closures. Different areas of the mountain will open and close at different days and times. The confirmation email you’ll receive from us will have all this information and more!


PETS: While we absolutely adore our furry friends and wish you could bring them with you, Silver Creek is unfortunately not pet-friendly for Guests, so we must insist you find alternative accommodations for your pets. However, if you have a certified Service Animal, let us know ahead of time so we can accommodate you.


EARLY CHECK-IN: While we know you are excited to kick off your vacation, please note we cannot guarantee anything earlier than a 5:00 PM check-in. We may be able to accommodate your request for an earlier check-in as long as the previous Renter has departed by 11:00 AM and the housekeeping team is not short-staffed. On extremely busy days or holiday weekends, we appreciate your patience if our staff is running a bit behind in cleaning and resetting the condos.


LATE CHECK-OUT: Unfortunately, these are not possible. If you’d like a late checkout so you can enjoy all the mountain has to offer, we’re happy to book you for another night, if this or any of our other properties is available.


PARKING: Your reservation includes a parking pass so you can park for free at the Silver Creek Lodge.
