'The Retreat Center offered a fabulous opportunity for a midpoint stop. The location and property were stunning. The drive into the property offered great promise of a comfortable stay. The after hours check in was simple and the access to the room was right off the main driveway. Parking was easily accessible and close to the unit. 'Room was clean and spacious. Pool was heaviliy clorinated. Breakfast was not well stocked. My family and others waited awhile for it to be restocked.'

'The property had clean beds and floors. The front desk was nice and friendly. However, our bathroom was really dirty and the parking lot ran out of spaces to park and people were parking anywhere they could.'

'Refrigerator didn’t work and informed front desk who said maintenance was on site she will have someone look at it. More than 24 hrs later called the front desk for an update but they were unable to supply any information. We were offered another room so we had to pack up and unpack again. Was told by staff member Bryson that we would receive a monetary compensation but we did not get anything for our inconvenience.'

'The Hampton Inn McMinnville was an excellent host for my stay there along with 20 or so others. The breakfast bar (included) was fantastic with a great selection and quantity to choose from. We reserved a meeting room close to the breakfast area to set up our own area to relax as a group with a buffet and bar for drinks. The staff and especially the night manager were extremely accommodating and responsive to our group needs. The only issue I encountered in my room (201) was the bathroom sink...

'Clean and restful'

'We were unable to make it to the hotel for the reservation and they couldn't refund the room as it was made through you all they said. There were problems and car troubles. '

'The property is generally nice for a simple short stay. It sometimes gets noisy and have some people smoking cigarettes and weed around the rooms, so that can get someone uncomfortable and to me it’s the major downside.'

'Was only there for short time have no complaints at all. Room was nice size and clean. Downstairs was ok breakfeast was basic but all that was needed. Great for a night stay after a late flight into nashville after a day of travel.'

'This is a nicely designed and maintained hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff are very friendly. My only complaint is there is a good amount of noise from cars as the hotel is situated on the main road through the town. Also, if you’re driving a car and need to turn left onto the main road, it can be tricky due to the traffic traveling on the road in both directions and there’s no side exit from the parking lot onto a street with a stoplight or stop sign. 'Very few dishes and only 1 fork. Had to stop at dollar tree and buy some glasses. Good ice maker and full size fridge. No housekeeping service for us since we were staying a week and I guess they don't come until you leave. Only 1 towel per person. My husband stopped by front desk and requested a couple new ones (our were soaked after multiple uses) but they didn't have any clean ones so they said they would bring some and never did. 'There were 4 drunken man from Costa Rica in the swimming pool with beer bottles until midnight. The Hotel management did not care. If you want to swim in a decent pool, don't go to this Hotel. The floor carpet in the Hotel is from the flower-power period and it is very dirty. It is a pity so see how this Hotel de-classifies itself, because there are very nice restaurants on walking distance.'

'Mooi nieuw hotel op korte afstand van de Interstate 40. Kamers zien er keurig uit en de badkamer is luxe ingericht met douch/bad. De kamer heeft de beschikking over een eigen koffiezetapparaat. 'We are from Canada and stayed here for 10 days. It was a fantastic stay. The owners were lovely people. As well as the staff were so accommodating. The location was quite and close to everything. Would definitely go back.'
