« Nice place. Need some improvements on quality of bed and necessities to clean up kitchen. It was quiet and isolated. Host lives right next door but you don’t even know they are there. »

« We loved our time at this sweet cabin!! Even though it rained while there, we enjoyed time on the beautiful deck, watching the river. We were 5 minutes from Bastrop and enjoyed hiking in Bastrop State Park and eating downtown. The cabin had all of the supplies that we needed and more. I would definitely recommend this cabin and we will be back!! »

The property is so neat to explore. We brought our e-bikes this time and it made for some great rides as well as an easy trip to Buescher next door to ride the road to Bastrop. A+ vacation!! »

« Overall I enjoyed my stay but as feedback for this property owner, I feel obligated to let them know about some issues below: The unit could use some added attention to cleanliness. The bed linens (pillows, duvet) could use replacing and/or a really good washing. I had to use my own pillow because the pillows smelled like dirty hair and I had to turn the duvet upside down because one of the corners smelled like bad body odor. The bed sheets were clean, but the items contained in the clean linens...

« The house was nice and had just about everything we could have hoped for - enough trash bags, paper towels, plastic utensils and paper plates/bowls. Plenty of towels, soaps, etc. for the showers. Bob was accommodating and kind and let us check out a couple of hours late. There are just a few things we wish we had known before: 1) All of the rooms are connected! Each bedroom leads to another bedroom and another and so on. Along with that, not all rooms are on central AC making it hard to provide...

« Just what was needed. This place is awesome for our trip to Smithville , Fayetteville , Carmine and Paige lots of antique hunting . The host Mike greeted us on the 1st day showed us everyone. This had all the amenities you need soaps , shampoo , botteled water and my wife loved the luxurious towels. Your morning coffee on the porch you had the company of deer , turkey , squirrels visiting the feeder set up close by . Definitely would be a place to go back too. »

« This space was absolutely perfect for our event. The entire extended family of the Groom stayed at the house and loved it! Plenty of space to get dressed for a local wedding and we were able to host a small dinner. The space is beautiful, spacious and well maintained. The host was amazing and we couldn't have asked for a better place during a very stressful time. »
