'Very quirky hotel. Right in the centre and reasonably priced. Lovely spacious rooms and a very comfortable large bed. Breakfast was delicious. Well worth the stay and would definitely stay again.'

'I booked a standard ensuite double room but upgraded to the Tudor Suite. I chose this hotel because it is hundreds of years old, which is something we don’t get to experience much in the USA! 'Did not car park. Not met any staff apart from phone call to troubleshoot issues with check in (key pad and room key) I did not use the kitchen but i saw it was there.'

'We stayed in room 7, adequate for what we needed for two nights but the en-suite was quite small.There are quite a lot of stairs up to the room, we also had a problem getting into the property as the electronic locks did not work as described.We received a message saying to use the last four digits of our phone number,this did not work!On the message the numbers were different to my number and this was where the confusion started. I had to call the agent for access and they said try the number...

'Room was large which was nice , unfortunately there is no air conditioning and with the exceptional hot weather it was very hot , staff had laid on a fan which helped. The views across the cricket pitch was amazing but unfortunately the room door to the balcony seated area was locked due to health and safety reasons .which was disappointing.'
