« Une seule personne parle anglais. C'est difficile de se faire comprendre. Les jeux comme ping pong et babyfoot sont abîmés. Le onsen côté homme manque d'entretien. Cela paraît sale. Le petit déj offert le matin est typiquement japonais mais cela n'est pas très appétissant pour des non japonais. La chambre style japonais était agréable. Nous avons bien dormi sur les futons à quatre. »

« The best thing about this place is its location, very close to the Nagasaka gondola lift and main ticket office. I also like the fact that I could rent my ski equipment right from the hotel, and stow the rentals onsite at a designated area. Every morning after eating breakfast at the lodge, I put on the gears and just needed to walk 5 minutes to get to the lift and hit the slope. « The hospitality (service and meals) at Shiganoyu Hotel were amazing. While we did not speak Japanese and the staff did not speak English, they used a translation tool for conversation and didn't let that be a barrier.
