Blokhutten in Shepherdstown

'This is a nice secluded place to unwind.'

'Very comfortable and cozy. Our family had a great stay here.'

'The cabin was clean, spacious, and'

'My husband and I chose the Silo house because of its uniqueness. Overall, it was a neat place to stay.'

'Great views, house is clean and cozy with a fireplace'

'Beautiful home, close to the attractions and very quiet. Only downside was the Hot tub which was a major reason we rented it, cover was wore out allowing debris to get in and wouldn’t heat above 90 degrees and the controls for the jets one was missing and they would not function all the time. Communication with the host was excellent and speedy responses sent a maintenance worker out but was not able to solve the problem at the moment'

'We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. Everything looked exactly like the photos and the atmosphere was quaint, calm and relaxing. We were conveniently located to several restaurants and the area was lovely. Overall, we were very happy with our experience.'

'The house is located on a street that has very low traffic flow ( which makes it very quiet). It has wonderful seating on the porch and a beautiful gazebo in the side yard. We always enjoy the short walk downtown and walking the the streets of town each day. There are So Many great little shops and eateries! The perfect location to stay in Americas Greatest Small Town. This house is a gem.'

'Overall, the cabin was very nice and provided a quiet getaway with relatively easy access to surrounding accommodations, including activities and restaurants.'

'Property appeared as listed. Excellent communication and check-in process. If we ever return to Harpers Ferry I would definitely stay here again.'

'Relaxing, close to all.'

'Absolutely charming cabin - clean, comfortable and with lovely amenities.'

'Amazing view and well appointed home. We had everything we needed and plenty of space to relax and spread out in. Loved the loft bedroom and fire pit - but the best part was the sunset right out front.'

'What a beautiful location. We really enjoyed our stay but the reason for my 4 is because of the bed it was so hard. I never complain. I couldn’t get comfortable at all. I’m sure if it had a one of those foam things on it that would make a huge difference. Kids slept great. Mama & dad did not. The hot tub was so nice. They had lots of items to help with a smooth stay. There was a Kayak that we weren’t expecting but it had hole in it my husband found out the hard way lol Made for a great laugh....

'Absolutely loved our stay. The cabin was exceptional, clean and welcoming. The only suggestion I would make is for a privacy fence at the end of the drive. We had kids on dirt bikes watching us in the hot tub from the end of the drive. Otherwise I would fully recommend. We will stay there again in the future.'

'This cabin exceeded my expectations! If I had known how tranquil and beautiful the surroundings were we would have stayed a whole week! My husband and two 17 year old boys enjoyed the place. We were able to swim and fish in the lake. It was so nice to sit outside with the rustling of the leaves, sound of the cicadas and birds. The sauna and hot tub were nice. Beds were comfy and water pressure for bathing was great. The interior design and the layout of the living/dining room and kitchen was...
