Nestled in Wears Valley, this adorable cabin offers a welcoming retreat for its guests. AloneTime sits high on the ridgeline with the kind of panoramic Smokies view that makes guests put their phones down and forget about their day to day.

The cabin is a traditional log build, but the experience inside is closer to a small, private mountain hotel: wood-burning fireplace, a hot tub angled toward the mountains, a hammock for slow afternoons, and a pool table for the evenings that turn cold early. On clear mornings the ridges fade pale into the distance; on cloudy ones the mist sits in the valley right in front of you and you can hear the silence, while enjoying the morning brew.

The cabin
One bedroom, one bath, designed for two. For those traveling with a small family, the loft features a twin-single with-trundle setup perfect for two children or small adults, and a living room convertible sofa for an overflow guest(s) . A wood-burning fireplace, a kitchen set up for a slow morning together rather than feeding a crowd with sitting for four — Keurig espresso or a slow drip, a kettle, toaster, and everything you need to cook a real breakfast without thinking too hard about it. You can also take it outside where large dining table sits on the deck overlooking the valley.

The hot tub is on the deck, lit, and warm before you arrive. What's outside the door is Wears Valley The Quieter Side of the Smokies — closer to the Metcalf Bottoms entrance of the National Park than to the Parkway crowds, with proper restaurants in Wears Valley, Townsend, and a few good hiking trailheads around. We've been hosting in the Smokies for six years, altogether for 14 years and have welcomed over 671 guest stays across our small portfolio of properties and three boutique cabins in the Smokies. We're hands-on, answer messages quickly, albeit please allow 24 hrs for reply due to our busy schedule with kids and multiple time zones. We treat each stay as if you were our only guest of the week — because to us, you are.
