Dollywood's Smoky Mountain Christmas begins November 6, bringing more than 6 million twinkling lights, holiday shows, seasonal treats, and Christmas shopping to the park. December is filled with even more holiday lights, shows, shopping, and festive activities throughout Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

While wildlife sightings are never guaranteed, it’s not uncommon to spot black bears, deer, and even a turtle during your stay. On quiet evenings, you may also hear the whistle of the Dollywood train echoing through the mountains—a reminder that you’re close to the action while still enjoying the peace of your own mountain retreat.
