Five bedrooms, eleven beds, five and a half baths, three finished levels. Sixteen people fit without anyone sleeping on a couch or waiting for a shower.
THE GREAT ROOM - Where you end up every night. Floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace, deep sectional, pine ceilings, windows over the hills.
THE KITCHEN - Built for cooking for a crowd, not reheating. Full-size stainless appliances, a quartz island with four stools, dishwasher, and a second fridge and freezer for the overflow you always bring.
THE DINING - A live-edge table seating eight-plus, and a second dining room seating six more. Adults at one, kids at the other.
THE BEDROOMS - Multiple king rooms, two with their own stone fireplaces, several with en suite baths and private deck access. Room-darkening shades and extra bedding. "Some of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in" is a direct quote from a recent review.
FOR THE KIDS - A bunk room with two triple-bunk units and a full-size shuffleboard table. A baseball-themed second bunk space with bean bags and a PlayStation 5. A media room with a big-screen TV, and a game room with foosball and a wet bar.
THE DECK - The best room in the house is outside. A twelve-seat outdoor dining table, gas grill, covered lounge seating, and a private hot tub with the jets running and treetops below.
ALSO HERE - Washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, smart TVs, A/C and heat, self check-in by smart lock, free parking. Pets welcome. Pack 'n Play on request.
ABOUT THE LAKE - Straight talk, because it affects your plans. The cabin sits above Douglas Lake with real water views from the deck and several bedrooms, but the water itself is a three-minute drive down to Lake Haven's community dock and beach. That access is seasonal, roughly May through October, because TVA lowers the lake September through May. Book Memorial Day to Labor Day if swimming and boating are the point of the trip.
LOCATION & WHAT'S NEARBY
You are in the quiet half of Sevierville - up in the hills above Douglas Lake at Lake Haven Cabin Resort, far enough from the strip that you actually sleep, close enough that Dollywood is half an hour away.
- Lake Haven community dock & beach - 3 min - Douglas Lake Marina - 5 min - Douglas Dam & tailwater - about 15 min - Downtown Sevierville - 20 min - Forbidden Caverns - 20 min - Tanger Outlets Sevierville - about 25 min - Soaky Mountain Waterpark - 25 min - Dollywood - 30 min - The Island in Pigeon Forge - 30 min - Downtown Gatlinburg - about 45 min - Great Smoky Mountains National Park - 45 min
On the resort: an animal barn with sheep, pigs and piglets kids can visit during daylight hours, plus community fire pits (bring your own firewood). A general store opens on site mid-May 2027. Honest note - this is rural East Tennessee, so cell service can be spotty and there is weekday construction nearby.
WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR
MULTI-GENERATIONAL FAMILIES - The sweet spot. Grandparents get a king suite with an en suite bath, parents get their own rooms, kids take the bunk room. One recent group brought seventeen.
FAMILIES WITH KIDS - Six bunks, shuffleboard, foosball, a PlayStation 5, a media room and farm animals down the road. Nobody has to drive anywhere.
REUNIONS AND MILESTONES - Sixteen guests, five and a half baths, two dining rooms, a twelve-seat deck table.
COUPLES TRAVELING TOGETHER - Three or four couples can each take a king room with a private bath and still share the hot tub.
SMOKY MOUNTAIN BASE CAMP - If your days are Dollywood, the Park and Pigeon Forge, this beats a parkway hotel.
GUEST ACCESS
You have the entire cabin - all three levels, every bedroom, the game room, the media room, the deck and the private hot tub. Nothing is locked off and nobody else is on the property.
Check-in is after 4:00 PM and fully self-service by smart lock, so arrive whenever your drive gets you here; your code comes ahead of time. Checkout is before 10:00 AM. You also get resort access - the community dock and beach (seasonal), the animal barn, and the fire pits.
The best way to reach the host is through your booking platform messaging system.
PARKING
Free private parking at the cabin - no permits, no passes, no fees, no shared lot to hike back from. Room for several vehicles, which matters when sixteen people arrive in four or five cars. The approach is paved.
The cabins sits on a hill and the parking area is not flat.
We cannot accommodate RV, camper, bus or trailer parking on the property, and there is no EV charger on site.
