We were cold, there were no blankets for the fold-out bed so I gave my mother, who was sleeping on it, mine from the master bed, so I just had a sheet. Also, there were no bowls in the kitchen that were microwave proof, or a wine opener. On a positive note, there were ample towels, It was disappointing and I rarely write a review. Hopefully this will help the next guest.

Just a few items that felt needing addressed. 1. Bathroom vanity seemed very low, the misses is 5'4" and she even thought so. I am 6"3 so short for me.2. The drawers for the dresser, stuck and the inside part of the handles have hooks and snagged my clothing a few times. 3. There was also a missing outlet cove behind the dresser.4. Most of the outlets to plug something in were loose, as in, the plugs did not want to stay in, when going to charge our phones. 5. The outside chairs need to be refinished. We used them every night, but all the lacquer was peeling off.6. Hot tub was great, beached wall may need to be taken care off.7. Glad it was still early spring, the are many holes in the outside walls, we seen a few bumble bees make their way in them. Especially by the rocking chairs.8. We also Felt a Pod style coffee maker would have been nice or an updated one for grounds. took a long time to brew a cup of coffee or make tea.The view was great! the seclusion was also nice!

Great location between Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. Very clean! We saw a bear right off the balcony that walked up to the cabin and then crossed the road, awesome!! 2 very small complaints (if you want to call them that) - It's one vehicle parking, as the road is literally right in front of the cabin. If you are meeting someone there, you might have trouble with 2 vehicles. There are very minimal kitchen supplies, no bowls for prepping or mixing. But hey, we were in the mountains and didn't cook that much anyway.Great place, great stay!

This cabin was everything we were looking for! It was the perfect for two! We enjoyed the amazing views, pool table and hot tub! This cabin is perfect located between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The parking was good for one car, anymore than that would not be ideal. Again this cabin was perfect!!

Beautiful views and convenient location

The view from the back porch was beautiful. We loved that the cabin was basically right in the middle of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg making it easy to travel to both. Lots of traffic on holiday weekend in this area and it requires a lot of U-turns to go places due to set up of roadways, so be prepared for that. We saw a bear almost every day near cabin, which we enjoyed. Dogs are allowed here, but there is very limited area for them to go potty and walk near this cabin because it is on a hill with narrow windy road. We loved the cabin though and had zero issues with check in. Highly recommend staying here.

Cabin was very dirty just hair and dust and bugs everywhere on everything.But I called and they said they would send someone out to clean it asap. They where very nice on the phone and was very helpful. The lady bug and bug problem in general should be stated on the listing so people are not blind sided by a cabin full of dead and alive bugs.

The only reason for 2 stars is that the cabin was nice. It is not as secluded as pictures show. Pets allowed but not pet friendly, no yard whatsoever. The biggest issue was customer service. Booked this place at 830pm. Got an email immediately asking questions. There was an issue with the booking through VRBO, and my card didn't go through, even though it showed to process on my end. Asked for my card information, to which I refused to give it to them since I booked through VRBO. They told me to cancel immediately. I asked how I'd be fully reimbursed for canceling since the policy states that if i cancel, I'm responsible for 50%. I called the host office, and there was no answer. Told them through email, and I'd tried calling. They told me they were closed, and I needed to cancel ASAP again. I told them I'd call VRBO first thing in the morning. 830 am. the next morning, I get an email stating they have canceled my booking. Called VRBO and said I'd be reimbursed. Went to rebook the cabin and they bumped up the price 100 a night. I now see why they needed me to cancel. That's bad business in my opinion.

Beautiful and clean!

The location is perfectly between pigeon forge and Gatlinburg. It is so beautiful, the bed is very comfy and the view from the deck is just wow! The only issue we had was lots and lots of ladybugs but that is not the fault of this rental property. Highly recommend to anyone wanting a quiet cozy cabin with a view!

Wonderful Stay

This cabin was perfect and convenient to everything. From having coffee outside watching the black bear foraging to a short drive into Gatlinburg to enjoy the day of site seeing. Will definitely be back again!

NOT DOG FRIENDLY

Did not bring our dog as originally planned, THANK GOD! This cabin is literally right on a road that dips straight down. No where for a dog to even use the bathroom. I understand it is dead of winter, but the trees and foliage behind the cabin are an eyesore. Not because it’s winter, they’re just dead. The place is poorly lit at night giving it a very depressing vibe. They left us 2 dishwasher pods, one roll of paper towels and 2 rolls of toilet paper for a 6 day stay. Btw we left a night early. Furthermore, the deck which the hot tub sits on needs repair, BAD. The photos of the outside are completely deceiving. Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else. The amount of money paid to stay here could’ve had us somewhere much nicer :)

Honeymoon!!

I chose this cabin for our honeymoon. The cabin was perfect but wished it had a half bath downstairs. It had a slight water leak from the bathroom sink you could hear it dripping in the wall downstairs. Other than that slight issue this cabin is very beautiful, a view of the smokeys thats breath taking plus we saw a bearvour first morning there. Would definitely recommend and are planning on coming back for our anniversary!!!

My husband and I went to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. We loved how private it was. Our only complaints were that the toilet needs replaced (seat was all scratched up) and the mattress could be improved on.

Good view dirty cabin

This was our first trip to beautiful Tennessee. I had high hopes for Gatlinburg and pigeon Forge, especially with the large number of quality reviews left on VRBO. Although Tennessee did not disappoint, I am afraid this cabin, did. Disgustingly, dirty, carpets, lack of cleaning supplies left, And only two garbage bags. There were cobwebs above the bathroom entry and underneath the table and the couch was disgusting. I was really hoping to be able to leave a quality review, but if you have other options for the same price, I’d recommend going elsewhere. There was barely enough space to park our car, and although this location states pet friendly, there’s nowhere to let your pet use the bathroom. Luckily, there was some small dirt area where cars had driven over off the road which allowed enough space for our small for babies to P. lastly, the toilet seat is about the size you would give a toddler, and the seat itself was uncomfortable, small and strange.

Quiet getaway

The cabin is cozy, quiet, and private. There are some gorgeous views of the mountains and the inside was well cleaned. The cabin is pet friendly however there are not many places to take the dog out to do his business so heads up to anybody bringing their pet. Regardless we were very happy with our stay.

We were told that check in was anytime after 4pm. We called & got the key code for the door around 3:30pm on the day we were to check in & again was reminded that we could check in anytime after 4pm. We arrived at the cabin a little before 4pm so we were waiting in the car until 4pm to go in. While we were waiting, a car pulled in & the woman inside told us she didn't think our cabin was ready, that it still needed cleaned & she was waiting for the code to get in. My husband entered the code & let her in & realized the cabin was in fact not clean. Another car pulled up with more people & they all started to clean the cabin as we waited. So not only was the cabin not ready at 4pm as it should have been, the cleaners were rushing & not cleaning as thoroughly because we were outside waiting after driving 8 & a half hours. They "cleaned" the cabin in 40 mins which made us wary. We were told we would be contacted by Smoky Mountain Chalet who runs the property but they never reached out. We tried to call them but could not get through. The place is a little beat up & outdated, could definitely use a very thorough cleaning. It was conveniently located near everything we wanted to do & allowed our dog so those were two huge pros. We did not use the jaccuzi tub in the bedroom because it did not look very clean & the plug for the drain was missing. We still enjoyed our stay, but will avoid booking with Smoky Mountain Chalet in the future.
