'The room, staff and food was lovely. But, the Safety, risk and emergency procedures make this a dangerous place to stay. I fell off the jetty due to poor lighting, breaking a number of bones. My husband jumped in and saved me, other guests helped us, while staff were lovely they had no idea, could not swim and no first aid box or stretcher/board. 'We had the double villa, so a lot of space and nice rooms. The best part of this accomodation is the perfect sunset to watch here. Restaurant facility is OK, but moderate. Breakfast can be much better. We booked a Komodo island daytrip and the hotel gave us a breakfast box that was really very poor! You better take your own if you do so. Staff is nice and helpfull but in the restaurant very young and unexperienced.'

'We loved our stay at Meruorah. This is by far the best option if you want to stay near the harbour. Very convenient before or after your boattrip to Komodo etc. You could even start your trip next to the hotel! As easy as that! Try to book the seaview rooms, those are stunning.. i tried rooms on both sides… for sure the ones with seaview were the best. I slept with the doors open and closed.
