B&B in Trans Pennine Trail

'Beautiful apartment in the old barn, with a lovely wood burning fireplace and views of lambs frolicking in the field opposite. Great choice of breakfast options and friendly staff. A great place for a weekend getaway!'

'This is the most wonderful place to stay. It is on a working farm but very close to York. Catherine was the most amazing host and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was cooked to order and couldn’t be faulted. Her recommendation for food was spot on and any questions were answered. My husband and I can’t wait to return in the future and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this to anyone considering staying here'

'Good stay - if the car park is full, space can be found on nearby side streets. Nice comfortable room and good breakfast served with flexible times. Just be aware they host a lot of live music, and it isn't a big building so expect to head down and join the crowd!'

'Absolutely amazing stay for our anniversary, rooms are lovely and clean and the landlord is so friendly and couldn’t do enough highly recommend this wonderful place'

'Nice room. Friendly staff. Breakfast ok'

'Beautiful manor with lovely grounds small lake with ducks room clean chairs did have a few stains which need addressing overall wonderful stay and would revisit free parking an added bonus and the breakfast was very good with plenty of choice'

'Just left the Toothless Mog but left a little bitvof outer hearts behind. Absolutely loved this unique B&B and the superb hosts, Rob and Janet. Every aspect if the full English breakfast was of the highest quality and very well cooked, although it requires a good appetite to finish it. Room was spotless and comfortable and of a quirky style unique to this charming place. Looking forward to an early return. 😀'

'Easy parking, friendly staff, comfortable rooms and good food. When in the area, I would definitely come back. '

'Kind friendly and hospital hosts Great suggestions for walking in beautiful countryside'

'Wonderful accommodation - very quirky though stylish, well maintained, clean and comfortable. Lovely welcome and easy check in and check out process. Nice arrangement for breakfast - self service with a nice selection of continental and option for a warm roll.'

'This victorian house is impressive. Very good location for finding solitude and peace. Hosts are very accomodating and friendly.'

'Great spot. Very quiet. Suggest you find it in daylight hours as it’s a bit tricky. Super friendly staff. Cooked breakfast would improve it.'
