'Amazing setting, very picturesque property. Our room was situated within a small rock face, it was absolutely amazing. Very well equipped and the sauna and hot tub was a luxurious touch! Great base for exploring nearby Amboise, about a 5-10 minute drive. Perfect!'

'We were changed to a cheaper room without consultation. Room had onsuite and looked ok, but on closer inspection, there was no WC. We had to use the lobby toilet. Inconvenient and embarrassing for those who need a loo in the night. We recieved a discount on request. Breakfast was initially ambiguous as no clear rules on where/how. Eventually after making a start ourselves, we were waited on. This nice villa is better suited to rent as a whole, than as individual rooms/ guests.'

The only thing to be aware of is that if you don't have a car it's hard to get to (taxis are hard to come by in Amboise), and a decent walk from downtown Amboise.'
