Cute West Seattle Cottage

Notre studio a de hauts plafonds et de grandes fenĂȘtres qui le rendent clair et lumineux. Il a un lit queen size, ainsi qu'un divan-lit queen size, permettant un maximum de 2 adultes et 2 enfants dans un studio. Le studio est particuliĂšrement intĂ©ressant pour un couple ou une petite famille. (Malheureusement, nous ne pouvons pas accueillir 4 adultes.) Nous avons Ă©galement un pack 'n' play, que nous pouvons fournir sur demande. Il y a une tĂ©lĂ©vision Ă  Ă©cran plat 42 pouces avec cĂąble et lecteur DVD, et un bureau oĂč vous pouvez configurer votre ordinateur portable pour profiter de notre connexion Internet haut dĂ©bit sans fil.

Dans la cuisine, vous trouverez un réfrigérateur, un four / cuisiniÚre, une cafetiÚre et un four micro-ondes. Les armoires sont remplies de toute la vaisselle et du matériel dont vous pourriez avoir besoin pendant votre séjour. Nous stockons du café et des articles de garde-manger pour vous aider à démarrer. La salle de bain comprend tout le nécessaire et quelques extras. Il n'y a qu'une douche, pas de baignoire.

Le studio est situé sur le cÎté nord de la maison principale et à cÎté du chùteau d'eau de Charlestown. La cour est un endroit agréable pour se détendre. Il y a aussi une aire de jeux pour les enfants dans la cour.

Bien que vous vous sentiez confortable, nichĂ© dans un studio calme et paisible, vous serez Ă  quelques pĂątĂ©s de maisons du cƓur de notre quartier. Descendez la rue en direction de West Seattle Junction, un haut lieu piĂ©tonnier avec d’excellentes Ɠuvres d’art, antiquitĂ©s, cafĂ©s, restaurants, une pharmacie, des Ă©piceries, le marchĂ© Sunday Farmer’s Market toute l’annĂ©e et une vie nocturne animĂ©e.

Vous ĂȘtes Ă©galement Ă  une courte distance de Alki Beach, de Lincoln Park et du Water Taxi d’Elliot Bay. Alki Beach est un endroit idĂ©al pour les loisirs d'Ă©tĂ© et une vue magnifique sur le centre-ville. Lincoln Park est idĂ©al pour une randonnĂ©e dans les bois ou un plongeon dans la piscine d'eau salĂ©e. Le bateau-taxi Ă  Elliot Bay depuis Seacrest Pier vers le centre-ville de Seattle est un excellent moyen de profiter d'une vue imprenable sur un trajet rapide vers le centre-ville et d'Ă©viter le stationnement en centre-ville. En voiture, le centre-ville de Seattle est Ă  seulement 10 minutes. Ou bien, une autre excellente option sans tracas est de monter dans un bus de mĂ©tro et de ne prendre que 15 Ă  20 minutes de trajet.

A Great Place to Stay

The cottage was exactly as presented on the website plus more. It was sparkly clean with lots of home touches, including some great games, which added to its overall comfort and options for fun. The hosts were responsive and gracious. As a senior woman traveling by myself, I look forward to returning here for my next stay.

Fun and Charming Retreat in Seattle

This cottage in West Seattle hit all the marks that a vacationer could want or expect. The layout is excellent. The bed is very comfortable. The smart TV is nicely situated and comfortable to watch from the couch or the bed. The location is convenient to cool bars and restaurants. And the hostess is accessible and friendly. Great property in a quiet location

Better than advertised

My only regret is not staying longer. The cottage was very nice, my wife and I both said Wow at the same time as we entered. It’s a beautiful place, and the host was fabulous. I never got to meet Janet, but we communicated through the VRBO portal. She seems like she has a very sweet demeanor. She was very responsive and helpful, making suggestions to restaurants and sights. She had notes throughout saying, Help yourself to anything in the cabinet. I felt more like a family member than a customer.

Amazing cottage in West Seattle that is perfect for two people. Quiet and convenient location with easy parking and quick access to all of Seattle. The property is super clean and has many special touches including a fabulous shuffle board!

Great location, wonderful host(s)

This cute cottage in West Seattle met all our expectations, and exceeded some. As a person who uses a wheelchair, I can say that this cottage was by far the most accessible accommodations I have ever stayed at. The host was very helpful in suggesting things to do, and three best way of transport to get there. I would definitely stay here if I ever find myself in Seattle again! Quiet guesthouse in nice neighborhood

The neighborhood is very quiet and cute, within walking distance from restaurants and shops. The cottage is open and bright and had everything we needed. We might suggest for guests who are light sleepers to bring eye masks since it is so bright. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and there even were a lot of games, including pin ball and shuffleboard. We enjoyed our stay!

Great place!

This place is bright with lots of windows, roomy and comfortable. The bed was great and plenty of pillow options to find the just right one. The kitchen is well stocked. The air conditioning was a nice treat. The garden outside is beautiful and the neighborhood is quiet. You are close to everything. Constellation Park is a 5 minute drive with great tide pooling. I enjoyed Ampersand Cafe on Alki with great coffee, breakfast items, and a waterfront view. There is also Metropolitan Market nearby with great produce, deli and hot bar. Janet was an incredible and thoughtful host.

Charming and Well Stocked

We loved our stay in this guest house. It was clean, comfortable and quiet, and the Shafis are friendly and welcoming. It's pretty obvious that they put a lot of thought into preparing for guests, as the place is well stocked with the usual needs, plus games and even picnic supplies. There is also plenty of seating in their lovely garden, which alone is worth the price of admission. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and plan to stay there again when we find ourselves in the area.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay while in Seattle.

My boyfriend and I just stayed here for three days and we can't say enough about what a gem of a property it is.. The cottage is just adorable and one can see how much the property owners love this cottage by the decor, attention to detail, cleanliness, quality of furniture, lines, towels etc. The property is in a fabulous location (2 miles from the beach, a mile from the Junction (wonderful restaurants and stores), easy ride via car or water taxi into Seattle) and I know the next time we are in Seattle we will be staying there again. Janet and Roshon are the best hosts ever. We were fortunate to have met them in person and spent some quality time talking with them and getting to know them. They sincerely care about the well being of their guests, you just can't get any better. I've been using VRBO for my vacations for a long time and this one was the best ever.

Beautiful wheelchair accessible cottage

We stayed here for 2weeks after husband’s surgery. It was a delight. Beautiful garden view, very good light from many windows. Wheelchair accessible shower and handrails. Excellent location with easy walk to stores, movies, shops. Wonderful owner.

Best Host Great Location Fabulous Digs

This cottage was rented for visitors we hoped to encourage to move to Seattle. Since we rented this VRBO several times for different visitors, we obviously feel this is a fabulous place. Prior to booking, I viewed several VRBOs to assure the accommodation would give a favorable impression and this was the best one. The owner, Janet, was more than happy to answer my questions & allow me to see the place while some owners told me to read the reviews & view the online pictures. However, actually seeing a place provides additional information such as the immediate neighborhood (if our visitor wanted to walk around for an impression of West Seattle), the interior smell (dampness? fragrance?), ease of access (if our visitor might have any accessibility needs) and feeling of warmth while also having a lot of ambient light. The cottage is a detached, separate unit adjacent to the Owner’s home. But there were no noise or visual intrusions between the two. The cottage feels very private and is a great place to relax. It’s a pleasant 1 mile walk (~15-20 minutes) to the center of either Admiral Junction or Alaska Junction for a great selection of restaurants or a grocery store. Or, a downhill walk to Luna Park CafĂ© if a sumptuous breakfast is desired. Of course, with a vehicle all these are only 5 minutes away. Overall, the location, the neighborhood setting, the cottage & its amenities and the host are the very best!
