'Even though we could only stay one night, we thoroughly enjoyed our time. So much detail to everything, games for kids, cleanliness, coffee for adults, its own little bird sanctuary out back with hummingbirds. The patriotic theme throughout was my favorite. 'This was our first visit to Smith Island and the Double H was perfect. It was close to the ferry landing so getting there was very easy. The house was well appointed and felt like home as soon as we arrived. We enjoyed the quiet of the island and we were able to fully disconnect and relax Thank you for a great day.'

'Beautiful home, pictures online DO NOT do it justice at all. One of the cleanest homes I've rented! The owners live close by & were so nice & made me feel very safe while traveling alone, (Sandy even offered me a safe ride home if I needed it from a party I was attending) the hospitality shown here was above and beyond! I would highly recommend this rental to anyone wanting a nice, safe & quiet place to stay!'

'We had such a wonderful time at this property! The location is beautiful and incredibly peaceful, with the waterfront just steps from the door. The home was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well-equipped and we loved cooking on the Blackstone. Access to private beaches and pool in the community was perfect. 'My best friend and I spent a weekend at the lodge and had a wonderful time. We were welcomed by Debbie and she gave us a nice tour of the place. We love sea glass hunting and there is a great spot not far from the lodge where we found TONS. I also found shark teeth! The lodge was very clean, unique, and in a beautiful location. We can't wait to come back with our husbands!'

'We stayed Sunday - Wednesday at Riverside Lodge. The Lodge was beautiful. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and Hooper Island was breath taking. We were able to take a boat ride to tour around the island and grad a little history and enjoy the stories. If you looking for a place to relax and renew... this is the place. '
