'Everything about this property was carefully designed and crafted to complement the Adirondack theme. The hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. After preparing dinner they started a fire in the pit where everyone congregated and traded stories. Highly recommend this property!'

'First of all, this place is just gorgeous. The decor, cleanliness and cozy feel can't be beat. Yes, the lack of running water is challenging, but I had a warm shower each day and even managed to shave. Cooking, washing and showering just took longer. I wasn't in a rush. My only complaint is the incinerator toilet. I think my bladder is just too large, so caution there. Otherwise, it worked well. The communication was rapid and effective. I'd stay here again for sure!'

'This place was great! We enjoyed walking the property and hot tubbing. The farmhouse was unique, but amazing! Leslie and team were friendly, we enjoyed chats over breakfast and pizza. Would definitely visit again.'

'The cabin, Bossie, is beautifully located. It also has all of the amenities I needed, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, towels, linens. It also is nicely appointed with attractive quilts and curtains. I also like the fire pit. The cabin is near 13th Lake which is gorgeous and quiet. I believe it's on state land.My only concern was the presence of a couple of big unfriendly dogs, maybe owned by other guests or residents nearby. 'The Tacklebox could be renamed The Jewelbox! This place is a gem. The kitchen and home are incredibly well stocked. There are robes, extra towels, fabulous built-in antique furniture and a record player to enjoy. The attention to detail is unmatched. We loved our stay and hope to return soon! '

'Another great stay! I brought yet another new friend along and she loved it too. We kayaked in 13th Lake, shopped in North Creek, hiked Peaked Mountain, had lots of laughs on our girls trip. Owners are always pleasant and knowledgeable about the area and things to do. I love catching up with them each visit, and also love the dogs!'
