« What a gem of a find and without hesitation would return. The bus stop is literally just outside around the corner where we got the bus to Scarborough for £2 esch way. We did the pub quiz on the Wednesday night for a good cause at only £1 each to enter with a free bowl of chips and a plate of sandwiches. The pub has a great atmosphere and we eat in the pub on the evening. I had home made steak pie with yorkshire puddings to start. The bedrooms are modern and very clean with tea msking facilities...

« A lovely gem of a hotel, from a different era, but in a really good way. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, everything was spotless and looked loved. If you’re after a modern hotel, with all mod cons, then not here, but for charm, and just gentle loveliness, a great place. Minor gripes - bottle of water and shower gel / shampoo not replaced when empty. Shower one which was either boiling or ice cold on a millimetre turn. But genuinely minor & did not, in any way, dampen the stay....

« This is a very traditonal hotel in the best sense of that word. The rooms are spacious and we had one with a great view towards Robin Hoods Bay. We had dinner and breakfast and both were very good. »

« Gros cafouillages dans les réservations. Propreté zéro, respect des règles sanitaires zéro, personnel désagréables, petit dejeuner horrible . Hôtel qui ne vaut même pas une étoile. Seul la position géographique par rapport a la plage est intéressante bien qu il n y est pas de parking. »
