'The house is beautiful in the hills with a great view. In November it can be too chilly and damp. We needed al lot of electric heating for that. The kitchen could be better equipped but has a lot. The matrasses in the beds were way too hard to be comfortable. That should be changed soon. Overall a good place to stay. But maybe better in summer than in winter.'

'A very peaceful location with great proximity to the airport and near a pleasant village. It is a tidy and compact cottage that was perfect for our family and Patricia was very helpful. "Wij verbleven in een Junior Suite en waren meteen onder de indruk van de ruime kamer met de vele ramen, waardoor er veel natuurlijk licht binnenviel. Het bad achter het bed gaf de kamer een originele en luxueuze uitstraling. Ook het rooftopterras en het zwembad waren absolute pluspunten. Het zwembad heeft een unieke kleur en is een heerlijke plek om te ontspannen. Het ontbijt was uitstekend, met een ruime keuze en kwalitatieve producten. De ondergrondse parkeergarage was erg handig, en de ligging van het hotel is ideaal. Je bevindt je midden in Funchal, op wandelafstand van winkels, restaurants en bezienswaardigheden. De directe verbinding met het shoppingcentrum is een extra troef. Wij kwamen midden in de nacht aan en moesten even zoeken hoe we het hotel konden binnenkomen. Uiteindelijk reden we de parkeergarage in, wat achteraf de juiste keuze bleek te zijn. Het enige minpunt tijdens ons verblijf was dat het zwembad één volledige dag gesloten bleef vanwege een probleem met de waterkwaliteit. Bij een kort verblijf is dat jammer, omdat je daardoor een deel van de faciliteiten mist. Ondanks dit kleine ongemak zouden wij dit hotel zeker aanbevelen aan iedereen die Funchal bezoekt. De combinatie van comfort, locatie, faciliteiten, vriendelijk personeel en een uitstekend ontbijt maakt het een zeer aangename verblijfservaring."
