'Communicatie met Nicola was zeer goed. Heel vriendelijk persoon en altijd klaar om bij te staan waar moet. Locatie was top. Kinderen vonden het zwembad de Max. Super groot zwembad. Veel wandel gelegenheden. Een echte aanrader.'

'The villa is just the right size for a couple or small family. It’s perfectly located in Varenna and easy walking distance to everything. The owners are wonderful, met us to take us to the property and provide several nice amenities. They also checked in on us to make sure we were okay and provided several options for things to do and places to eat. Would highly recommend if you want a true Italian experience.'

'The location is excellent and the view from this property is stunning! Literally walk out your front door and down the steps to the main road lining Varenna. Very walkable! We knew the age of the house based on pictures and description, which is why it was charming and felt “old Italy,” but age did show with some things, like the upstairs bathroom. 'This apartment is located in a residential area, however if you have a car, there is no problem going to Bergamo sightseeing or shopping malls. It is also within a 30 minute drive from the airport. The owner was very kind and flexible with check-in times. The room is clean and has everything. Highly recommended if you are staying with your family.'

'Naast het feit dat het huis bijzonder van architectuur en inrichting was, was ook de garage een groot pluspunt. Vanuit Montevecchia kon je heel gemakkelijk Milaan en Bergamo bezoeken. Ook het Comomeer is de moeite waard.'

'Loved it and can’t wait to return! The view is gorgeous—amazing sunsets and, in the morning, Varenna is lit up by the sun. The patio is also right next to an old waterfall/fountain ruin type of thing that is lit up at night and it’s stunning. The inside of the apartment is also fantastic and we loved the very large bathtub and the rain shower heads. A few things to know—it IS the penthouse so there are quite a bit of outside stairs to get to the apartment. It wasn’t really a problem for us but...

'The property was very nice and the check in process was easy. It would be good to have a car because Uber and car share services do not work in Varenna. The taxi service is a little sporadic and expensive. The train station is a long walk as is town. The view was great with plenty of space. I would rent here again but only if i had a car'

Chemin de rando qui passe juste dessous la résidence.On peut rejoindre le port facilement a pied, à condition d'être en bonne condition physique, sinon il faut la voiture.Pas de clim (séjour avec températures caniculaires).Propreté moyenne serviettes qui sentent l'humidité et drap taché.J'y retournerai sans souci tout de même.'

'My wife & I had a lovely stay at this Bellagio home. It is pretty well centered - about 20 min walk to the tourist-y part of the city. The balcony is beautiful to enjoy a bottle of wine. It was spacious and we felt right at home!Pro Tip - we flew into Milan and hired a private driver from Transfeero. The drive itself was quick and easy, about an hour and a half, and it wasn’t terribly expensive (100-150). The driver was able to drop us off right in front of the home.
