« We had such a wonderful stay at this house. There was plenty of room for our family of four and then some. The views were of the San Juan River while hanging out in the hot tub were fabulous. The house is very cozy in a nice quiet neighborhood off of the main highway - so no noise. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well stocked. « All 6 families (from 5 different cities) agreed this place was a perfect place to celebrate our family birthdays. We took advantage of the location and spent time at James Ranch and Durango Hot Springs and Spa. Both were ideal for our group with adults and toddlers. There was more than enough room to spread out for our 10 adults and 2 kids. The beds were comfortable and the house was very clean. « Loved this house and location. If you want luxury in a secluded house with views out of every window and serenity at your door step this is the place for you. « Sleeping Bear Cabin was a lovely place to stay. However, persons who have difficulty climbing stairs would have a hard time staying here. There was a flight of stairs up to the front door, another up to the loft bedroom, and another down to the laundry area. »

« Overall, we loved staying here and it was the perfect location for us! I little off the grid, but still close to town and all the activities we wanted to do! »

« This property was great, location was perfect for us as we would order our food and run into Durango to pick it up and be back at the house in less than 10 minutes. Because it is located on HWY 550 there is some traffic noise during day, but after dark the traffic slows way down. Again not an issue for us. The bed were all very comfortable and the showers in both baths had great water pressure and lots of hot water. Did have a couple of muke deer come up to the house in the evening. »
