Cottages in Samosir

'The hotel has a very good potential. It is located on a prime spot, has good quality beds and the overall state is good. It represents itself as a 5 star resort and charges accordingly. Food and drink prices are like what you pay in major European cities like Amsterdam, Paris, Madrid or Rome (eg €55 for a simple bottle of wine and € 10,- for a beer and yes, that is including the mandatory 20% service charge they charge you and the GST). Which is on average 3x more expensive than what you pay in...

'Next to the lake. Very quite but close to the village. Big house!'

'Ligging: prachtig!

'Was unable to sleep due to villa being so close to main road, was not helped by having window panels missing. No pool, no English tv stations, no WiFi. Location so remote needed to hire motor bike every day '

'Amazing crew and owner is very friendly. Foods are delicious '

'It’s a worst hotel I ever visited '

'I didn't like the fact that when I reserved the room online that it didn't come with a private bathroom. I then upgraded ar a huge price difference to a room that was designed for a person less than 5' tall. I had to stoop so low to enter and even to walk around in the room. I hit my head 5 times while entering and exiting the room '

'Very basic, sheets were a little stained and ripped. WIFI didnt work, cups in the room but no kettle just a hot water butt on the landing. OK location and could access the lake in a small area outside the hotel. Staff had no interest in helping, didnt even tell us WIF8 password (not that we could use it) or breakfast times. someone did knock '

'Kamar bersih. Excellent view '

'Beautiful view of the lake. Comfortable stay'
