Blokhutten in Salt Spring Island

'The host was not around when we arrived even though we told her we would be arriving early. The grounds were run down and when we tried to contact her there was no wifi or cell coverage at that remote location. Because of poor communication and the run down appearance of the place we decided to stay elsewhere.'

'For the price, this motel stay was good. We had no issues. The check in was easy, very kind office staff, room was clean. This is an older motel, so if expecting new condition, this would NOT be the place for you. I could see if they had loud guests, an issue could be that the sound proofing is not good, you can hear outside and upstairs noise easily. Thankfully for our stay, it was all quiet and just footsteps upstairs very occasionally. We just needed a brief place to sleep overnight and it...
