'I'm so glad that we found this cabin! The number one thing to know: Be sure to have a vehicle that can climb, because this neighborhood is steep. We were glad to have brought a 4x4 truck rather than a small car. I had messaged the property owner a couple of times before arriving, and they were very quick to answer and very pleasant. That means a lot. The property is conveniently located in Slade, very close to all things Red River Gorge. We opted to stay in the ground level bedroom, because the...

'This cabin was a perfect getaway for my husband and I to celebrate our anniversary. It is an absolutely beautiful and secluded area. We enjoyed the big picture windows, record player, and hot tub. It is tiny, but has everything you need for a weekend trip. '

'The cabin was so perfect! Quiet and secluded but still close enough to town. Everyone was so friendly and we ate at 145 Roadhouse and was so impressed! The host was absolutely amazing and friendly and communicated so well! Loved the stay!'

'My husband and I have both talked about getting away for a few days where we could disconnect from everything. The cabin and location were perfect in every way. We both kept saying how we wish we could stay longer! We both were craving peace and quiet and we got just that. It was lovely! It truly felt like home away from home. We hope to visit again soon! '

'we had a fabulous time at our stay in Starway to Heaven, the place was so clean and welcoming and well prepared with everything that you would need to use. it is tucked away and secluded wand the only real noises to be heard were from the wildlife around you. we really enjoyed our stay and Brad was very helpful with communicating some great information about the area and suggestions of things to do and the places to go. loved our stay!!! '

'Best view in the gorge. Wonderful and clean cabin. Would only note for the people that like to cook while on vacation it may be time for a better (flatter) stove so food cooks evenly other than that the place was assume!'

'The cabin was perfect for a last minute weekend getaway. Within walking distance to Red Point BBQ. The outdoor enclosed patio was very nice and we sat out there often. Large comfy king bed. Updated couches in the living room. We had everything we needed. I will say it was a bit dusty in some spots but overall pretty clean.. and I am picky about that whenever staying somewhere! Would definitely stay again. '

'Overall impression was very good. It is a small quaint cabin for two. Relaxing atmosphere. Just a couple comments for those that have issues with stairs. The bedroom was in the loft (King Size Bed). Stairs are quite steep so elderly people that may have issues with stairs will need to consider. We don't have issues with it, but some may. The shower needs to be fixed. It was just a steady stream of water...like a water hose and not easy to take a shower in. Not sure how this wasn't fixed before...

'Very nice stay. We loved the covered porch with the swing and hot tub. All we could see around us was trees. Very Peaceful.'

'We enjoyed our stay. Had everything we needed and more. Check-in was smooth once we connect back to cellular and picked up the instructions. Wifi access was simple as was the tv streaming. One of the best cabins we've ever stayed in.'
